He watched as Qin Yan finished her meal and ate the medicine. Then, he stood up and went out of the ward.
The people in the ward were speechless. Qin Yan looked at Xi Ting’s departing back and felt assured. She didn’t know why but she felt safe when he was there for her.
She had just spoken a few words to him on the phone but he had come running over with worry. Her moonpie was still the same. In fact, his care and concern had increased for her in this lifetime.
He was staying in S city just for her answer and truth. And now that she was in trouble, he was the first one to stand up for her.
She knew his ways. She knew what Young Master Xi could do. Hence, she was not concerned about finding the person behind the incident. She trusted him so much that she knew he would definitely seek justice for her.
Qiao Qing and Xing Ningjing looked at Xi Ting strangely. They were not acquainted with him but when they saw his devilishly handsome face and the cold aura surrounding him, they knew that he was not someone to be trifled with. They were just puzzled about how he was related to Qin Yan but seeing the graveness of the situation, both of them looked towards each other and decided to stay quiet.
As soon as Xi Ting came out, Tong Chunian also arrived.
Xi Ting had endured his anger in front of Qin Yan, but once the door closed, he asked angrily. "Who is the mastermind?"
Tong Chunian fully empathized with Xi Ting’s feelings and also chuckled coldly. "Lu Yaran, Qin Yan’s mother."
Xi Ting walked towards the stairs, "Have you found out where she’s at?"
Tong Chunian followed him, "She’s in the Qin family’s house."
