Chapter 28: Thank you Miss Qin
All the three guardians had heard about Qin Yan from their sons and brother before. They came to know that Qin Yan was transferred from Class three to Class Four recently and she was very good at academics. Teacher Wang often praised her in class and she was most likely the brightest student of Class Four.
Zhen Chengyu smiled at Qin Yan, "Miss Qin, I am Zhen Kai’s elder brother, nice to meet you," Zhen Chengyu extended his hand towards Qin Yan. Qin Yan shakes his hand back, "It’s my pleasure to meet you, Mr.Zhen." Zhen Chengyu was quite impressed by Qin Yan’s attitude. She did not look at him with worshipping attitude nor did she glance at him seductively which was the reaction of most females of this age.
Mother Jiang and Mother Xing also greeted Qin Yan nicely and exchanged the formalities. They too were impressed with Qin Yan. She spoke clearly with neither overbearing nor servile manner.
The three guardians were wondering how their sons and brother changed. Yesterday, they came back to their homes covered in injuries and took a military salute. They promised to study well and gain good scores in upcoming mid-term examinations. Zhen Chengyu was quite shocked seeing his brother’s changed behaviour. He could not understand what made Zhen Kai so obedient.
Similarly Mother Jiang and Mother Xing were extremely worried seeing the injuries of their sons. They asked them who beat them up but their sons responded that they fell down when they were studying. Their mouths fell open. They could not understand how their sons who did nothing other than causing trouble, were so determined to study.
When they saw the video, everybody came to a realization. Whatever changes happened were done by Qin Yan. They didn’t know how she was able to do it when they as parents were unable to convince their own sons.
Whatever the reason may be, they were quite happy seeing the changes in their sons. Mother Jiang, Mother Xing and Zhen Chengyu were very thankful to Qin Yan. They kept praising her.
"Miss Qin, thank you for teaching my son. I was really at my wits end trying to make him study, but I failed so many times that I gave up eventually. I didn’t expect him to obey you. You have done me a great favour. If there is anything you need help for, you can look for me. I will be happy to help," Mother Xing said with a grateful smile.
Mother Jiang and Zhen Chengyu both echoed Mother Xing and handed their cards to Qin Yan.
Both the principal and Teacher Wang were shocked seeing the guardians’ behaviour.
