Xiao Feng breathed a sigh of relief and opened his telekinesis to search for higher-level zombies.

Eventually, Xiao Feng, weaving through the zombie crowd, found an eighth-tier zombie leader.

It was an eighth-tier beast-type zombie.

Zombies were not limited to humans. During the initial outbreak of the apocalypse, many animals were infected and became the first batch of zombie animals.

As animals evolved, at the fourth or fifth tier, they started devouring the crystal nuclei of their companions to enhance their abilities.

This beast-type zombie might have devoured numerous human zombies’ crystal nuclei, reaching its current state and gaining increased human-like intelligence. It became a relatively rare beast-type zombie leader.

From its appearance, it was easy to infer its original animal form. This zombie had horns on its head, a sturdy build resembling a tiger or bear, and when it moved swiftly, it would walk on all fours. When moving slowly, it would occasionally raise its front legs, similar to a human, using its hind legs to move.

This might be a characteristic feature of its evolution towards humans.

Now serving as the leader, it would command the surrounding zombies to attack its target.
