Chapter 292: Give Too Much
"What kind of gift do you want for your Academy admission?" Kabuto just asked bluntly.
It was too much for him to fight for world peace now.
"So that's how it is. Then you can give me a Kunai." Itachi smiled and said.
He did not refuse because they were friends.
And even if he refused, Kabuto would probably still buy a gift for him, so Itachi just asked for a modest gift instead to prevent Kabuto from buying anything expensive.
"Kunai? Sure." Kabuto nodded. Now that the matter of the gift had been resolved, he felt slightly at ease.
Then, the two of them began their training. First, they practiced Ninjutsu. Then, they purely used Taijutsu for one spar. After the battle ended, they rested for an hour, and then sparred again before practicing on their own.
The afternoon passed very quickly. Finally, before they parted ways, Kabuto suddenly remembered that he had said that he would introduce Hanayo to Itachi and Izumi, so that Itachi and Izumi would at least get to know their senior once they enrolled.
"Itachi. Let's invite Izumi for a lunch tomorrow. Consider it a celebration for your admission. I will also invite the friend I met at the Academy," Kabuto said.
"Sure, I will inform Izumi." Itachi nodded and left.
