Chapter 216: The Upcoming War
At the border between Land of Fire and Yugakure, Kakashi brought the members of the training team to find Kumogakure Shinobi.
"Up ahead is Land of Fire. Those who want to enter will require permission aside from Land of Fire's Shinobi!" Kakashi, who wore Anbu's mask, walked to the sight of Kumogakure Shinobi.
Because Nagasawa and Minato were upset with Kumogakure Shinobi's behavior, they finally decided to give Kumogakure the first and last warning.
And after careful consideration, Nagasawa chose Kakashi as the person that would warn them.
After all, Kakashi deserved the credit as he was Minato's disciple and also the leader of the Fourth Hokage's Anbu training team. Moreover, this was also part of Kakashi's duty.
Of course, it was partly because Kakashi happened to pass by in front of Nagasawa when he was thinking about who to send.
"We have not entered the Land of Fire, Konoha Anbu! Don't you see we are still in Yugakure's border." He grinned.
"I don't think Konoha has the right to meddle in the business between the Land of Thunder and Yugakure! Or perhaps Konoha thinks they are some sort of the ruler of the world?"
"Haha, although Konoha is not the ruler of the world, it is certainly not something that your village can handle. Have you forgotten how your famous A-B duo was defeated by our Hokage?"
Kakashi immediately retorted, mocking Kumogakure Shinobi for falling short from his Hokage.
Nagasawa had already told him to be as brazen as he could be and not give Kumogakure any chance to gain the upper ground.
