Chapter 210: A Good Shinobi is a Hardworking One
"Let's see the results of your training today! Do you want to spar with each other or with my shadow clone?" Nagasawa asked the five members of the Special Combat Squad.
Four months had passed since Nagasawa taught them Breathing Styles.
There were three months before the Academy's graduation, and there would be a lot of fresh graduates.
This was what Nagasawa had in mind. Just like the Medical Students, the graduates could also sign up to join the Special Combat Squad, and they were not divided into classes like ordinary students.
However, after joining the Special Combat Squad, the graduates would have to take the assessment from their mentor. If they failed, they might be sent back to Academy.
Because of that, Nagasawa reminded that the Special Squad Class were recommended for those who were interested in swordsmanship. Otherwise, there might be the risk of failing the assessment.
In order to prevent these mentors from dragging their future students down in the future, Nagasawa wanted to check their progress and then changed the training plan according to the situation.
In the past, Nagasawa didn't strictly manage Special Combat Squad, because most of the members were Jonin.
Even though Kosuke wasn't a Jonin, he was an experienced Shinobi who had earned three Hokage's approval. Masato Uchiha did not become Jonin because of his lack of achievements, but his strength was not much different from the other two Uchiha.
Therefore, Nagasawa felt that the people in the Special Combat Squad did not need him to specifically supervise them. After all, they were either young genius Jonin or the old and experienced Shinobi.
The Special Combat Squad basically only had two joint trainings a week. The first one would last three hours, where Nagasawa would explain some of Breathing Styles' fundamentals and various sword techniques.
