"But I am just a Chunin," Nagasawa replied subconsciously.
Perhaps it was because he just got a newfound strength, or because of his personality, he still subconsciously tried to refuse.
For the information, when Nagasawa attended the Ninja Academy, he made sure to have average grades in all subjects.
He believed that too good or too bad would attract attention. Only an average joe would be unnoticed.
He did the same after graduation. In the first four years, he refused the recommendation for the Chunin Exam with insufficient strength as his reason. After failing three times, he then "successfully" advanced to Chunin.
Therefore, in most people's eyes, Nagasawa had always been an average Shinobi with good looks but no talent.
"Although you're just a Chunin, I know that your strength is far more than that." Minato smiled and shook his head, "If even you, Nagasawa, are considered weak, then how many people in the Shinobi World can be considered capable?"
He did not know how strong Nagasawa was because Nagasawa was always hiding his true strength. Even he did not dare to say that he knew everything about Nagasawa.
However, from what Nagasawa showed him, Minato believed that he was at least as strong as a Jonin.
