Yue Longshan waved her hand, her attitude extremely firm, saying: "There’s no need. You and I have deep ties between our sects, this small matter does not need to alarm our elders."

Liu Yan Yi replied solemnly, "Forgive me, but it’s difficult for a junior like me to comply."

Yue Longshan grew impatient, saying: "You don’t have a choice!"

She grasped a spell, and suddenly countless pale white dust filled the sky, blocking out the sun, rolling in from all directions, gradually closing in, about to trap her.

Liu Yan Yi hurriedly activated the "Boat Mooring Bag," releasing a cluster of crystalline clouds to protect herself.

Yue Longshan sneered coldly, continuously exerting her mana atop the cloud, a boundless pressure descending.

Liu Yan Yi, after all, only had Xuan Guang Cultivation; though this "Boat Mooring Bag" was a Mystical Artifact, her cultivation was a level lower and soon began to struggle to resist.

Nonetheless, she remained calm and unhurried, holding the sword ball, awaiting the chance to break through.

As soon as she spoke, a soft laugh echoed nearby, saying, "That might not be the case!"

Yue Longshan immediately sensed trouble, but before she could act, a Jade Arrow shot from the void, piercing through the dust cloud, creating an opening.

Though the opening closed almost immediately after it formed, Liu Yan Yi seized the moment, deploying her sword for an escape.

A brilliant light flew out, flashing to a thousand feet away, then vanished without a trace.

Yue Longshan’s expression changed, she shouted, "Who dares interfere? This is a matter of the Mingcang Sect, what right do you have to intervene?"

Amidst the misty haze, stepped out a woman treading on light clouds of five colors, dressed in colorful clothes, her hair styled in twin knots, an attractive face, blinking and feigned surprise, saying: "I was ordered by my master to safeguard Liu Daoist back to the manor, seeing someone shamelessly bullying, I reckoned it was some Evil Demon, turns out it’s a Mingcang elder!"

Yue Longshan’s face flushed; ever since emerging, she had been snubbed by True Master Qin, left unheeded, inevitably feeling sullen.

Upon hearing her master seemed to have issues with Zhang Yan, she was eager to regain favor, and a fellow disciple suggested a plan; if their senior disciple, Liu Yan Yi, was captured while traveling, it would ensure control and win over her master’s favor.

She thought this a good plan, but as a Hua Dan Cultivator, confronting a junior without reason felt dishonorable; now ridiculed by this woman, she was momentarily infuriated, shouting: "You think you can handle me?"

She flicked her sleeve, sacrificing a Jade cup into the sky, turning it upside down. Its mouth glowed, spewing a chilling force, even before reaching, it felt like ice water soaking, chilling to the bone.

The colorful-clothed woman exclaimed, flicking a finger towards her hairpin, which swiftly flew forward. With a crisp "ding," it knocked the Jade cup off balance slightly.

Seeing this, Yue Longshan hurriedly initiated Qi Jue to correct it. The Jade cup was unique, needing the mouth aimed to subdue the opponent.

As soon as it was adjusted, the hairpin flew again, stabbing and poking, knocking it off balance, refusing to allow comfort.

Yue Longshan refused to be entangled with irrelevant individuals here, intending to swiftly deal with this woman to pursue Liu Yan Yi, hoping for a chance; yet her haste only deepened the entanglement.

The colorful-clothed woman perceived her eagerness, smirking inwardly, her form slipping and dodging, merely ensnaring her, evading lethal moves, but intercepting as she attempted to leave.

A moment passed, Yue Longshan realized she could no longer catch Liu Yan Yi, gave up the chase, focusing instead on battling this woman.

As a True Master’s disciple, knowledgeable and experienced, after exchanging for a moment, she discerned this woman’s origin, sneering: "I wondered who dared oppose me, turns out a disciple of the Lishan Sect."

The Lishan Sect is one of the Ten Sects of Xuanmen, though compared to others, its foundations are shallower, rising only a mere thousand years.

However, compared to the other Nine Sects, it holds several advantages; its founding Ancestor Master remains stationed at the Mountain Gate.

Relying almost solely on her strength, this sect has established itself.

The colorful-clothed woman, exposed, showed no panic, merely responded: "Oh, might you be among Mingcang Sect’s Top Ten Disciples? Or perhaps an elder within, constantly wielding Mingcang’s name to press down? Intending to bully a young sister?"

Yue Longshan felt her face burning from the sarcasm, shouting sternly: "Alright, Lishan’s disciples are quite sharp-tongued. You obstruct my path without cause, today I shall capture you, let your sect come to collect!"

She reached into the sachet to act, when a chill startled her, swiftly tilting her head aside, a cold Sword Qi sweeping past her forehead; though unhurt, it scattered her hairdo, leaving her hair disheveled.

She was stunned with rage, looked towards the clouds, seeing Liu Yan Yi’s sleeves fluttering gracefully in the wind, standing there, surrounded by twelve Sword Lights, weaving and swirling, her gaze steady upon her.

Yue Longshan could never have imagined Liu Yan Yi had not fled but lurked in the clouds awaiting a strike.

Her hairpin plucked by a junior’s sword; even capturing Liu Yan Yi, she felt ashamed, hesitated briefly, sighed, raised her sleeve concealing her face, flying away.

The colorful-clothed woman watched her leave, then ascended the clouds, marveling: "Liu Daoist, why did you not leave?"

Liu Yan Yi respectfully bowed, saying: "Daoist, your aid freed me, how could I abandon you?"
