Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess

As the two brothers from the Regal Lei Clan escaped from the rainforest, the Moon Princess who had left ahead of them had gone near the sea area instead. She was too angry to stay in the forest area because of what Lei Yuya had said. Yue Lili thought that Lei Yuya is different from the other man, and upon hearing what he had said before she left, made her feel frustrated.

"How annoying! Why are all men like this?" The Moon Princess murmured while kicking the sand at the seashore as she walked through it.

Yue Lili was still pouting and didn’t notice that she was being targeted by someone in the dark. These are people who are naturally evil and someone from the demonic cult. The Blood Demonic Cult that targets people with special bloodline and extracts them for their own use. It just so happened that the bloodline of the Ancient Moon Clan is one of the best. It’s just that no one had chosen them as a prey as most heirs of this level had been tightly protected by a hidden protector.

However, this is the ancient ruins. Those old powerful guardians cannot enter this place while some demonic cult sect can enter as long as they meet the requirements. There are lots of young demonic cultivators who are stronger than those of the same generations. They are even more cruel as they were younger and feared almost nothing.

Maybe distracted by her anger, the Moon Princess didn’t notice that she was being tailed by someone. There are at least three men following after her and they were all from the same demonic cult.

After leaving the forest area, they had reached the desert area which is the nearest area after they left the rainforest. Lei Yuya found an oasis in which the two of them had chosen to take a rest. Right now, Lei Yuye has just killed a desert crocodile who lives in the oasis’s water area. Now he is taking a bath after butchering the crocodile for food.

"Dage, I caught meat for today’s meal!" Lei Yuye said.

Lei Yuya was in deep thoughts as he felt uneasiness in his heart. He couldn’t help that something bad is happening right now and it is making him unable to calm down. This anxiousness comes from his heart and he couldn’t understand the reason why.

"What’s wrong, Dage?" Lei Yuye asked worriedly and thought that he was thinking about the Flower God whom they had seen in that rainforest.

He asked, "Are you thinking about that Flower Goddess?"

"No." Lei Yuya said. He looked at the direction which kept getting his attention.

"It’s nothing. Cook the meat," he added.

What Lei Yuya didn’t know was that in the direction he had looked just now was where the Moon Princess was being chased and teased by the three Blood Demonic Cultivators. After being caught off guard at the seaside, she was poisoned with a Qi Dispersing powder and is now no different than a helpless mortal who can barely use qi. Thankfully, she had lots of treasure and pills that didn’t require qi to activate and it was thanks to it that she was still able to run away until now.

Yue Lili while covered with wounds and robes soaked in fresh blood. She tried to meditate to remove the effects of the Qi Dispersing powder as soon as possible. However, for some reason her wounds are not healing no matter how much healing pills she ate. What she didn’t know was that the techniques from the Blood Demonic Cult, prevents wounds from healing and let blood bleeds. This is because this demonic cult loves the scent of blood and tracks their prey using this technique.

Hiding in some cave, Yue Lili was using common ointment to lessen her bleeding. Even though Healing Pills seem useless, ointment that prevents bleeding seems to be more effective. After all, which cultivator would bring ordinary healing ointment if they had pills. As for why the Moon Princess has such ointments, she usually goes to small villages giving away common medicine and food. It happens that she has those stocks in her storage. She planned to visit villages again after coming out of the ancient ruins. Who would have thought that the common thing the cultivators never even look at would be the thing that would save her at this moment.

"Damn Demonic Cult! Wait for this princess’s qi to return! I’m going to kill you all!" The Moon Princess grumbles in rage.

Yue Lili to save herself had to once again change her hiding spot when she noticed that her blood lingers in the cave. For those Blood Demonic Cult cultivators, whose ability leans to controlling blood elements, even her own blood can become their weapons.

"I need to change the place to rest. This place isn’t safe," Yue Lili mumbles as she wore an invisibility cloak and moves away from the cave.

A few hours after Yue Lili moved from the cave, the three demonic cult cultivators that were chasing her had finally found the cave she was in. Unfortunately, she was no longer around and this angered the three demonic cultivators.

"Senior brother, it was definitely here!"

"If she is not here then she should have left already!"

"Dammit! Just how much treasure does that bitch have?!"

"Shixiong, the effects of the Qi Dispersing powder will only last until half a day tomorrow. By sunset the next day, her qi would return to normal."

"Keeping looking! It would be bad if she found some acquaintance in the ruins, especially those two princes from the Regal Lei Clan."

They didn’t stop looking for the Moon Princess. As for the Moon Princess herself, she had found some abandoned buildings near the desert area. She originally planned to head to the desert area but the night had already descended. The desert area had less places to hide and if possible Yue Lili wanted to avoid it.

The night had passed safely for Yue Lili. She woke up when the sunlight slipped through the holes at the ceiling of the ruined building she had chosen to rest in. As soon as she woke up, she immediately checked the effects of the Qi dispersing powder on her and realized that its effects had started to fade albeit slowly. But this little bit was enough for Yue Lili to call for help and report to her father about the Blood Demonic Cult.

She sent only two messages. One for her father, Yue Zhiyan who was outside the ruins and the second one, she hesitated greatly before sending it out. Yue Lili felt that sending the second message was a bad move, but it was already too late to stop it as it had longed flown away.

While biting her lips, Yue Lili said, "Maybe I shouldn’t have sent that message. He might choose not to read. Forget it! Better meditate more and remove the effects of that Qi Dispersing Powder as soon as possible."

The message sent to the Ancient Moon Deity was received right away. As it was made using a space communication stone and only recorded messages passed through easily through time and space. Yue Zhiyan and his wife, Su Hialun were having breakfast together only for this message to suddenly arrive. The moment the communication stone had lit up, Su Hialun noticed it right away.

The Ancient High Elf Princess said, "Honey, the communication stone at the table is glowing."

"Hm? Did something happen to Li’er?" Yue Zhiyan said as he reached out for the communication stone which directly flew to his hand.

The moment he activates the recording his daughter’s voice echoes in the area.

The moment these words were heard, the expression on Yue Zhiyan and Su Hialun had turned serious. Though they knew that they could bring their daughter back to life as her soul origins were left in their clan’s soul temple, it wouldn’t change the fact that the Blood Demonic Cult had targeted their heir. A powerful surge of aura spreads from Yue Zhiyan which startled everyone not only in the palace but in the whole empire.

"Blood Demonic Cult! You dare to touch this Emperor’s only daughter! You are seeking death!"\

Meanwhile inside the ancient ruins in the desert area...

Lei Yuye and Lei Yuya who were about to leave the oasis suddenly received a divine message from someone. It was in the form of a small white lily which floated down on the first prince of the regal Lei Clan’s hand. Lei Yuya instantly recognizes who the owner of this qi aura is.

Lei Yuya and Lei Yuye didn’t need to hear the rest of the message as the former immediately flew towards the direction where this message came from.
