Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess

Under the bickering of the two adults, the said children under the two families had chosen to move away from these two feeling embarrassing. They entered the ruins under the gaze of their guardians and they welcomed the journey that was meant for them. After they had left, the adults had watched until the entrance of the ancient ruins had closed. Once it was closed it would only open again to let the ones who had entered inside after a certain period of time.

The two emperors, Yue Zhiyan and Lei Yuhuang turned serious at this moment and had a conversation.

"With this we can only wait for them to come out again," said Lei Yuhuang as he hung his hand over Yue Zhiyan’s shoulder.

Ignoring the weight that suddenly fell on him, Yue Zhiyan said, "Waiting is not a problem. The problem is that some of the Blood demonic cult had entered as well."

"You’ve noticed? There were quite a few of them who had gone inside. Don’t worry, my son is inside. He can handle them. Your daughter will be safe. Have you remembered the oath that we made that day?"

The Lightning Emperor slowly turned dumbfounded at his closest friend’s words. His words had woke him up and Lei Yuhuang had finally realized something had gone wrong. If one of his sons had truly fallen for the Moon Princess, it meant that one of them would become a live-in son-in-law. They had already destroyed the first engagement. Those old men will not allow it to be destroyed the second time, even if a direct descendant of Lei Yuhuang had abandoned his original family name and taken his wife’s name.

Seeing the stunned and disbelieving expression of his childhood friend, Yue Zhiyan looked at him with a helpless look and sigh.

"Idiot. You still never use your brain properly," said Yue Zhiyan. "Just hope it wasn’t your chosen heir who would have fallen in love with my daughter. Or maybe you should start training both of your children as heir, so if either one comes over to my clan, you still have one."

Yue Zhiyan ignored his shocked childhood friend and walked back towards his wife. He greeted the wife of Lei Yuhuang and said, "Saozi, we are heading back now. Please take care of that fool."

The Ancient Moon Deity nods his head and says, "We will also investigate the situation and keep an eye on this cult."

"Saozi, we are heading back now," said the Ancient High Elf Princess, Su Hialun.

The Mermaid Princess thinking of what happened to them in the past had also felt guilt. It was also because of this that she had agreed to her husband’s request to have two sons.

Lei Yuhuang said, "Don’t worry. I promised you before I will not force our children. Only if they truly fell in love with Zhiyan’s daughter would I allow the marriage contract between the two clans to be approved."

The Mermaid Princess recalling her two children’s reaction when the Moon Princess had appeared, she could only helplessly sighed thinking that her children had been hooked before they even knew it themselves. It seems that she would truly lose one son to the Yue Clan.

Meanwhile inside the Ancient Ruins, the ruins were larger than expected. The same forest where the flower goddess temple was found. However, at this time, this Flower Goddess is still alive and is actually one of the rulers of this ancient ruin.

Yue Lili had actually woken up while being captured by some living vines while her eyes were closed. The one who had helped Yue Lili had arrived holding a sword in his hand looking around the area. It was Lei Yuya. He only watched her from a distance and never looked at her directly. He had this serious expression on his face while looking around vigilantly.

Lei Yuya said, "Stand up quickly. We must leave the area as soon as possible."

The Moon Princess realized that this man wasn’t like she thought. Yue Lili wanted to scold the man for not minding his own business like all other men who got attracted by her face. Yue Lili stood up from the ground and left the area immediately with Lei Yuya. Then she tried to recall what had just happened in those past few minutes and what this man reasons for not allowing to move.

Yue Lili thought of only one thing that she was about to do but was prevented by his man who had suddenly appeared by her side.

She said, "You are stopping me from using fire? There is something wrong with this forest."

Lei Yuya glanced at her and smiled, "Smart. I do not know how long you are trapped in those vines, but at least three days have already passed since I woke up."

Frowning, Yue Lili said, "Three days. How is that possible?"

"You might have been captured by those vines before you can open your eyes." Lei Yuya said. "Within those three days, I had witnessed people burning those vines and getting dragged deeper into the forest."

"Something is wrong with the ancient ruins?" Yue Lili asked with a serious face. "What’s at the center of this forest?"

"I haven’t gone to that location yet. I am looking for my younger brother and just found you first," said Lei Yuya. "Uncle Yue said to watch after you."

"What is your name?" Yue Lili asked with an innocent face.

This question stunned Lei Yuya and almost fell off the tree he had just jumped onto and turned his head abruptly to look at the Moon Princess.

"Our fathers are friends and you do not even know my name!?" Lei Yuya asked in disbelief. After all, even he who had only met the Moon Princess for the first time at least knew her name.
