Chapter 957: Fruit of Wisdom
An explosion had taken place in the main palace of the Immortal Star Empire. It was said it was powerful enough that the whole throne hall would have exploded if the Immortal Star Emperor didn’t make a move himself. That’s how vicious the last attack the Fairy Queen, Titania Ambrosia, had done. Even though the Immortal Star Emperor had protected his palace, the whole hall was now covered in the blood of the fairy race.
The explosion of the Star palace was prevented yet the blood of the dead fairies had tainted the whole throne hall splashing red blood all over the ground and wall together with their destroyed flesh even the Immortal Star Emperor had failed to escape and a droplet of their blood flew towards his face despite protecting himself from the explosion tainting that flawless face of his with dirty blood of those he looks down upon. The Immortal Star Emperor remained indifferent despite his face tainted with blood and even nonchalantly wipes it as if it was nothing.
"Someone!" He called.
The moment his voice was heard the throne hall’s entrance was pushed open and royal soldiers entered the hall in groups. They abruptly stop after seeing the blood and flesh in the hall, the scent of strong blood spreading in the area frowned. However, amid this scene, the Immortal Star Emperor stood at the center of it untouched. Well, the only drop of blood that had fallen on him was nonchalantly removed by him as well.
"Clean up the hall. Also, I will issue a decree to hunt the traitor, Fairy Queen Titania Ambrosia for trying to kill this emperor," The Immortal Star Emperor, Xing Xiejue said.
Xing Xieju left the throne hall leaving everything to his subordinate to handle. After their emperor had left, those who were left behind couldn’t help but look around the throne hall now dyed in fresh blood with bits of flesh and wings of the fairy race. It was like a scene of hell, making everyone feel creepy about it.
"Leader, what do you think happened here? All this blood and flesh..."
"Don’t ask what you aren’t supposed to know."
"I have seen the Fairy Queen and her people seeking to see the Star Emperor. Since his majesty decree the Fairy Queen as a wanted person, does this mean all these used to be fairies, the one that came with her?"
"Based on the state of blood and the range, this is a group self destruction. The only reason the palace didn’t explode might have something to do with his majesty."
"The fairies self-destructed? Who are they trying to kill?"
Everyone collectively thought of one answer from the reaction of the Star Emperor. The Fairy Queen and the Immortal Star Emperor might have ended their relationship. The fairy queen couldn’t accept it and wanted to kill the Star Emperor by commanding her own people to take down the Immortal Star Emperor with their lives. Unfortunately, their opponent is an emperor realm cultivator and it is almost impossible even for a group of fairies to try to kill a real emperor.

However, in just a day, there is news that has spread in the whole Immortal World. First is that the Immortal Star Emperor issued a Kill Decree for the criminal Fairy Queen, Titania Ambrosia. Everyone was shocked. After all, it was well known that the strongest backer of the Fairy Queen in the Immortal World was the Immortal Star Emperor and for this man to issue such a royal decree meant that he now truly sees the fairy queen and her race as traitors and everyone must be killed on site.
When this news spread, the ancient clans like the Yue Clan and the Regal Lei Clan weren’t completely believing the news. They had thought it was another kind of scheme in which the Immortal Star Emperor and the Fairy Queen were acting out.

Everlasting Moon Empire’s Moon Palace
During the family meal , except for the eldest princess, Yue Xuexia, all other members of the Moon Clan had gathered in the dining hall having breakfast. There are the two ancestors: the Ancient Moon God, Yue Zhiyan and his wife, Su Hialun. The Everlasting Moon Emperor, Yue Yuya and his wife, the Everlasting Moon Empress, Yue Lili. There are also their four children, two twins. The first twin is the Crown Prince, Yue Leiya and the Second Moon Prince, Yue Wuya. The Crown Princess, Lei Ruiye and their son, Yue Zhiya were also around. The second twin, is the reincarnation of the Moon Goddess’s two sisters, Yue Jixia and Yue Ruxia. They were all present for the family meal.
The Second Prince, Yue Wuya said, "Did everyone hear about the latest news? The Immortal Star Emperor and the Fairy Queen had completely broken apart!"
"I’ve heard about it. The Immortal Star Emperor issued a royal decree to kill the Fairy Queen upon sight and it will be rewarded by the Immortal Star Emperor himself upon reporting her death. But this news is a bit unreal... After all those two had been partners for years," The Crown Prince, Yue Leiya said.
The Everlasting Moon Empress, Yue Lili said, "Don’t think about it too much. Whether they became enemies or not doesn’t have anything to do with us. Both were enemies who had caused harm to your sister. They are just the kind of person."
"There is one real thing about this news though. The Fairy Race is about to be exterminated. They had offended the recently out of seclusion Demonic Sect Leader of the Death Valley. The Evil Crimson Flower Emperor, Hei Xieyi," The Everlasting Moon Emperor, Yue Yuya said. "There are also rumors saying that the agreement between the death valley and the fairy race to target our family wasn’t known to this Evil Crimson Flower Emperor. After coming out of seclusion to learn that most of his hidden powerful subordinates were killed, he immediately barges to where the Fairy Queen is and asks for the payment for his loss. He had taken away a quarter of the whole fairy race as payment for it."
The Ancient Moon God, Yue Zhiyan, spoke, "That Crimson Flower. It was unknown what was going on in his mind. He seems to have issued within the Death Valley that no one is allowed to touch our Moon Clan and Regal Lei Clan after coming back from the Inner Haven."
"I’ve heard about that too. It seems that the late Divine Doctor’s legacy had been found which is said to be located at the Inner Haven’s Pill Tower. That tower was not a real building but a sentient Tree spirit, the Tree of Knowledge from the legends," said the only Ancient High elf within the family, Grandma Hialun.
After waking up in the Immortal World, Grandma Hialun stopped using her mortal form and used her real form which was awakened in the Exiled Star by her ancestor, the Ancient High Elf King Andromeda. Only in this form would she feel refreshed and not suffocated by the density of the qi in the Core Haven.
Yue Ruxia, the youngest moon princess asked, "Grandma, what is the Tree of Knowledge? Is it amazing like the world tree?"
"Though the Tree of Knowledge cannot be compared to the World Tree, its use is different. The Tree of Knowledge is a legend for one reason. It can materialize a certain knowledge and form it to a fruit of wisdom and eating a fruit of wisdom would allow one to learn every knowledge which was sealed in the Wisdom Fruit. Just one fruit can allow one to gain a certain knowledge. It can be cultivation technique, a talent, a special skill, as long as the Tree of Knowledge bears a fruit for it then anyone can learn it. Even if they do not have affinity in that element. That’s why the Tree of Knowledge is considered an extremely precious tree." Ancient High Elf Queen Hialun explained.
Everyone in the family was shocked. Isn’t this Tree of Knowledge something like a cheat? It is a treasure that gives someone enough knowledge to be called a master. It was such an absurd tree.
The second moon princess, Yue Jixia said, "Doesn’t this mean as long as one can eat a Fruit of Wisdom, everyone can be a master of something? Then this tree is indeed precious. I should check on it when we return to the academy after the vacation."

However, the requisite to grow a Fruit of Wisdom is extremely hard to achieve especially for special Wisdom Fruits that sealed the knowledge of Elemental Skills and Cultivation Techniques. The knowledge it sealed might be an inheritance skill, a lost technique, hidden skill or something the same worth. These fruits once they ripen and pluck would need 500 years before they bear the same kind of fruit. As for the Legendary grade Wisdom Fruits, it’s said that even a God’s Legacy can be sealed in it and this kind of fruit only ripens once in every millenium."
