Morning, at the Yueguang Peak…

The Moon Goddess had just woken up from her sleep with Shen Jueyang sleeping by her side on the same bed. Her long silver hair was untied and flowing like a silver lake on her bed with her wearing a onesie white bear as her pajamas. She languidly opened her eyes to look around and instinctively reached out her hands patting all around as if looking for her phone. On her waist was a strong arm holding on her gently while she was leaning on the Immortal Sun Emperor’s chest whose eyes are still close at this moment.

Shen Jueyang is still sleeping as his untied crimson hair entangles with her silver ones. He is sleeping so peacefully and unguarded that Yue Xuexia doesn’t understand why he trusts him so much. What if she is an enemy one stabbed into his exposed chest can end his life in an instant. She moved her eyes to what her hand was hitting hard just now and realized that her hands were on Shen Jueyang’s chiseled chest. His sleeping black robes were slightly open revealing his firm chest and eight packs of abs where her hands are moving around. Yue Xuexia only stopped when she heard someone laughing softly above him and raised her head only to meet Shen Jueyang’s crimson-gold irises staring at him full of mirth and teasing eyes.

His heart was out of control as he gulps unconsciously for a few times before finally asking,

The Moon Goddess didn’t respond right away. Instead she pulled away the arms embracing her waist and stood up. Such a reaction in the eyes of the Immortal Sun Emperor is no different from rejection. Just as he tried to hide the sadness welling in his heart he suddenly felt someone had grabbed his face and before he could react, Yue Xuexia had kissed his lip.

His eyes widened in disbelief and shocked that Shen Jueyang didn’t even notice that Yue Xuexia was observing his reaction. They kissed for a few minutes before separating. Only then did the Immortal Sun Emperor realize what just happened and his face slowly turned red under the innocent gaze of the Moon Goddess.

Yue Xuexia said, “Is this kiss alright? I cannot move with you hugging me from behind so I changed my position to look at you face to face. Do you want another kiss?”

This time the Immortal Sun Emperor would be a fool if he let this chance go. He reached out his hand and pulled the Moon Goddess to sit on his lap and once again captured her lips. This kiss was a bit aggressive because kissing for too long made Yue Xuexie uncomfortable and she grabbed Shen Jueyang’s hair forcing him to separate from such a suffocating kiss of theirs.

Upon hearing this Yue Xuexia immediately turned around to look for something to look at her face and in the end Xue Shuyi had to make an ice mirror for her to check herself. Like Xue Shuyi had mentioned, her face was indeed quite red, it’s just that her heart was so calm that she didn’t realize that she was blushing. It took a while before the color of her face returned to normal.

Yue Xuexia asked to her system, ‘Qiuqiu, what is wrong with me? My heart was so calm. How come I suddenly started blushing.’
