"Let’s find a secure place," the third man said, his voice gruff as he motioned toward the edge of the tall grass. Maddie didn’t wait, she dragged the man she was clinging to along with her, her legs wrapped tightly around his waist. The third pulled her against him, his hands lifting her up as she clung tighter, rocking against him like her life depended on it.
