Chapter 16 How a Pet Should be Treated
My stomach grumbled angrily as he mentioned that I must be hungry, red hue crept on my cheeks. ’Why do you have to make a noise now? How embarrassing?’
I crossed my arms across my stomach, as if holding it would stop the gurgling noise, but another wave of grumbling came again, which made me tighten my arms around it, but each wave was louder than the last.

I swallowed as I stood beside Damon as he took his seat. Seeing that he was seated, I decided to take mine, but I was only halfway to sitting down when I felt a piercing cold aura around me, which made me stop midway.
Knowing where the aura was coming from, I turned to Damon, whose eyes had darkened. ’Okay, what now?’
"How dare you?" His voice thundered through the hall.
