Chapter 14 In the Hands of a Psychopath
At that moment I didn’t know if I should be glad that he had protected me or if I should be worried. I stood frozen, staring at his shoulders.
Afterwards, he retracted his hand, before tucking it in his pocket, his eyes gleamed, as he stared at his handiwork, the ground was painted red with blood.
"Now follow me," his voice grew louder, sending chills down my spine, my head spinned like a spiral, I didn’t want to go with him. That man is a bonafide psychopath.
When he noticed that I hadn’t moved an inch, he turned his head slightly over his shoulder, "do you want me to carry you?" His voice was laced with a mix of amusement and irritation.
"No master." I answered, walking towards him. "But master I haven’t finished my punishment yet," I said in order for him to leave me behind, but it seems like luck has run out from my side.
"No worries, I have others in mind." He answered curtly, silencing every stubborn voice in me.
As we walked away from the warehouse, my eyes glanced at the Omega who I had helped earlier, she sat weakly on the ground. My steps faltered, falling behind him.
"Master... Can I go and help the girl?" My voice quivered a little.
"No."
