Chapter 154: Wanda’s Browser History! Gwenpool!
When Lorien opened Gwen’s Google browser and clicked on her browsing history, Gwen—who had been hugging Wanda—suddenly felt a pang of unease.
What was that feeling?
Her heart jolted, and she whipped her head around just in time to see Lorien opening the history tab.
"No~~~!"
Her wide, beautiful eyes went round in panic.
Lorien had expected this. He spoke softly.
"Wanda, hold her down. I’ll explain later."
Wanda’s eyes lit up, and she immediately grabbed Gwen. She even cast a binding spell from the Book of the Vishanti, wrapping both herself and Gwen in it so they’d be restrained together.
But the spell didn’t last.
Just as it settled, ping!—Gwen’s incredible strength shattered it in an instant.
In the blink of an eye, she was in front of Lorien, throwing her weight on him and flailing her hands.
"Don’t look, don’t look, don’t look!"
She swiftly shut off the monitor, then dropped to the ground and hit the main power switch.
"Phew~~~~"
Only then did Gwen finally breathe a sigh of relief.
But she didn’t realize this was just the beginning of her nightmare.
Seeing the computer powered off, Lorien stood, walked over to her bed, sat down, and began,
"The first time..."
"It took so long..."
"And also—"
Before he could finish, Gwen launched herself at him.
"No! Don’t say it!"
She frantically shoved a pillow over his face to keep him from speaking.
Lorien nearly laughed himself sick.
After all, seven-tenths of Gwen’s search history was about relationship issues, two-tenths about romance and feelings, and only one-tenth could be considered "normal"... though even those weren’t really normal.
It made sense.
Raised under strict discipline, this was her first relationship. Almost everything with Lorien was her "first time," and she took it very seriously. That’s why she had been secretly searching things bit by bit for so long—forgetting to clear her history.
And with Lorien’s sharp eyesight, a single glance had been enough to take it all in.
Oh, Gwen, Gwen...
At that moment, her whole face burned crimson. Even her ears were flushed red, and the tip of her nose glowed cherry pink. She was unbearably adorable.
Wanda, meanwhile, was laughing so hard she shook against the bed. She couldn’t help it—Gwen was just too cute like this.
But Gwen caught Wanda’s expression and grew furious. She raised her hand and smacked.
"Smack~!"
"Ah!"
Wanda yelped, clutching her ear as she rolled aside to hide.
But Gwen was beyond reason now—her embarrassment had turned into blind wrath.
She glared at Wanda, who was still laughing despite holding her ears, and snapped.
"Wanda, I don’t believe you never searched anything!"
That shut Wanda up instantly.
Why? Because under Gwen’s fierce stare, she couldn’t lie.
"...But I didn’t search as much as you did..." she admitted in a tiny voice.
Then, nervously, she pulled out her phone and started fiddling with it.
Gwen narrowed her eyes, then lunged forward, snatched the phone, and tossed it straight to Lorien.
"I’ll hold her down! Lorien, check her history!"
Lorien: !
Was there really such a good deal?
He caught the phone while turning to see Gwen already pinning Wanda to the bed, gripping her wrists to keep her from moving.
As soon as the phone landed, and she heard Gwen’s words, Wanda panicked.
"No, Lorien! Really, there’s nothing~ don’t look!"
Lorien burst into laughter. That was practically a confession.
He unlocked the phone, opened the browser, and pulled up the history.
Sure enough—Wanda had searched too, though far less than Gwen.
"Let’s see here... ahem." He cleared his throat.
"The most recent one is: ’How can biting make my partner happy?’"
"The second: ’Is getting that wet normal?’"
"The third: ’What should I do if my partner is too strong in bed?’"
He hadn’t even finished before Wanda buried her head under the blanket, refusing to come out.
If someone had taken her temperature, it wouldn’t have been any lower than Gwen’s.
Meanwhile, Gwen was laughing with wicked delight.
She leaned close to Wanda’s ear and teased,
"Wanda, why are you so wet?"
"Don’t know how? I’ll teach you~"
"You’re so weak~"
Wanda clamped her hands over her ears, refusing to listen.
But Gwen’s voice carried like magic, slipping right through her palms. She pressed a hand against the bone behind Wanda’s ear and giggled.
"Hehe, Wanda, I can control bone conduction. Covering your ears is useless~"
"Ahhhhhhh—!"
Wanda could only cry out to drown out Gwen’s voice. It worked, but she had to stop for breaths in between, or she’d suffocate.
By then, Lorien had already turned off the phone and tossed it back beside her.
"Wanda, next time, remember to clear your history like Gwen."
"I know, I know, uuuu..." Wanda whimpered miserably.
Seeing both of them like this, Gwen suddenly felt much better.
If she had to be embarrassed, then at least she wasn’t alone—sharing the shame made it bearable.
So she straddled Wanda’s back, clinging to her happily and chanting teasing lines like a mantra.
...
Click~
The door suddenly opened.
"Gwen, I brought you some fruit—"
Mrs. Stacy froze.
Her daughter was straddling Lorien’s sister on the bed? And Lorien was just sitting there watching like it was a show?
Uh...
Lorien - Gwen (and/or) Wanda?
Lorien - (Gwen - Wanda)?
(Lorien - Gwen) - Wanda?
For a moment, her brain overheated trying to make sense of the scene.
Forcing a polite but awkward smile, she set the fruit plate on the desk, then quietly closed the door behind her with a thunk.
"Mom!"
Gwen jumped in shock. She sprang up, trying to chase after her.
"It’s not what you think—"
But halfway through the words, Gwen froze.
Wait... wasn’t it exactly what her mom thought? And not even that far off?
Uh... then what was the point of chasing after her to explain?
Without Gwen pressing down on her, Wanda sat up laughing.
"It’s over. In your mom’s eyes, you’re the bad girl now."
"Hmph~!" Gwen put her hands on her hips. "So what if I’m the bad girl?"
"Bad, bad, bad girl!" Wanda teased.
"Yes, yes, yes!" Gwen nodded quickly. "The kind who bullies you and pushes you around!"
Wanda: ...
Lorien looked at Gwen’s smug expression. It reminded him of a certain familiar meme.
He went to bring over the fruit platter Mrs. Stacy had cut and sat back down, watching the two girls bicker.
As long as it wasn’t a matter of principle, Lorien had no problem watching girls fight—it was one of his favorite entertainments.
Unfortunately, the moment the girls saw him eating fruit, they both abandoned their squabble and came over to join him.
What a shame.
Lorien bit into a piece of dragon fruit, then glanced around Gwen’s room.
"I have to say, Gwen, your bedroom is really well-decorated. Did you do it yourself?"
"Of course," Gwen said happily, munching on a banana.
She then speared a piece of apple and fed it to him.
Lorien accepted the bite, then looked at the décor and said thoughtfully,
"So you must have been pretty much a homebody when you were in school, right? Stayed in here playing on the computer or reading?"
Gwen blinked in surprise.
"How did you know?"
Lorien smiled.
"I could tell from your room."
The real reasons, of course, were twofold.
First, he already knew that Spider-Gwen was one of the more introverted versions of Spider-Woman or Spider-Man. The only one who could outdo her in that regard was Gwenpool, who was practically a shut-in.
Second, the way her room was arranged said it all—she looked cheerful, lively, and active on the outside, but deep down she had her own private little world.
"Let’s see if you’re hiding comic books under the bed."
He bent down for a look.
"Sure enough."
Beneath the bed was a box—full of comic books.
"Ah! How did you find them again?"
Gwen immediately covered her face, too embarrassed to show herself.
"I just cleaned up yesterday! How do you know everything?"
Lorien dragged the box out, picked up a few comics, and handed some to Wanda with a grin.
"Come on, Gwen, don’t you know who I am? I know you—and my ’patients’—better than anyone."
Inside the box were all sorts of classic American comics from the 20th and 21st centuries. Clearly, Gwen had read a lot.
Lorien skimmed through the categories. They were all standard comics, nothing odd—her taste was perfectly fine.
He chuckled.
"Gwen the well-read."
Wanda flipped open one at random and nodded in agreement.
Hearing this, Gwen perked up and leaned against Lorien’s back.
"You don’t think I’m childish?"
That made Lorien laugh.
"Childish? Why would reading comics be childish?"
Gwen thought for a moment.
"When I first started, my classmates called me childish. Said I was just a little girl who hadn’t grown up."
"Gwen."
Lorien closed the comic in his hand and looked at her seriously.
"Childish isn’t a label—it’s an attitude."
"Reading comics isn’t childish. Ignorance and arrogance are."
"Playing games isn’t childish. Ruining other people’s games on purpose is."
"Liking toys isn’t childish. Addiction without self-control is. For normal people, it just means they have imagination."
"So childishness doesn’t describe a thing—it describes behavior."
He meant every word.
Sometimes people call things childish and dismiss them. But sometimes, it’s exactly because of that ’childishness’ that something has meaning.
Wanda had been listening seriously from the start.
Lorien’s words weren’t just for Gwen—they were for both of them.
To tell them: form your own sense of self. Don’t just accept whatever society says is right.
Everyone else might be stuck in the 9-to-9 grind, six days a week. But does that really mean it’s the right way to live?
Don’t kid yourself. Sooner or later, the dam will break.
Gwen nodded solemnly, taking his words to heart.
"I understand, Lorien."
"That’s good."
Lorien didn’t ask what exactly she understood. Asking wouldn’t have mattered anyway. True understanding needed no explanation, and if you didn’t understand, no amount of questioning would help.
Then he glanced at the two girls with a smile and flipped his hand.
In an instant, a pile of comic books that didn’t exist in this world appeared—Tom and Jerry, SpongeBob SquarePants, Detective Conan, Secret Class, and many more.
"Ahem."
Lorien immediately thought about taking Secret Class back, but Gwen and Wanda, quick-eyed as ever, both snatched it at the same time!
The moment they saw the cover, they knew something was off. When they flipped it open—
"Wow~~~!"
Gwen’s eyes lit up, and Wanda urged,
"Flip faster, Gwen!"
Just as Gwen was about to turn a few more pages—
Slap!
Lorien grabbed it back.
"You two really don’t learn anything good. How could you be reading this?"
Watching the book taken away, Gwen pouted. She had always loved comics.
"Pfft..."
Then a thought struck her, and she brightened.
"Show me, Lorien~! I’ll just study the storylines and moves from the comics!"
Lorien: !!!
He froze, then after a moment waved his hand.
"Fine, here. These are all yours. Go read them."
The comics he handed over were all clean—no violence, no explicit content, just pure love and fun.
Gwen and Wanda’s eyes sparkled. Gwen immediately began stashing them away, while Wanda hesitated.
If she read them, that meant she’d have to learn what was inside to serve Lorien. But if she didn’t...
She glanced at Gwen, who was grinning from ear to ear, then remembered what Gwen had whispered earlier:
"You’re so weak~"
"Want me to teach you~"
Thinking of that, Wanda grit her teeth. What was there to hesitate about?
She’d read!
...Just not right now. Not while they were still in someone else’s house.
So the two girls decided to put the comics away first.
Lorien looked around and said,
"There are plenty of empty rooms at home. Why don’t we build a comic archive? We can move all of Gwen’s here, add mine, and maybe buy some more from the market. What do you think?"
No need to even ask—Gwen’s eyes lit up like stars.
Wanda, standing nearby, felt blinded by her excitement.
Lorien smiled knowingly.
"Then let’s do it tonight. Why wait? We’ll have the comic archive built before the night’s over."
"Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!"
Gwen tumbled out of bed, dragged out several boxes of her hidden comics, and said,
"Wanda, open a portal home. We’ll move them now!"
"I’ll run down to tell Mom. Be right back!"
She dashed out in a hurry.
Lorien and Wanda exchanged glances and laughed.
Alright then.
Wanda waved her hand, opening a glowing portal. With another flick, the boxes of comics lifted themselves and floated through.
Not long after, Gwen returned, breathless with excitement.
"All set! Let’s go! Time to build our comic archive!"
So the three of them went home and began setting up their new comic room.
...
Meanwhile, beyond the Multiverse—beyond even the Fourth Wall, in the only "real" universe—
Gwenpool lay sprawled across her bed in her pink Deadpool suit, rolling around in boredom.
"Are there any new comics? Any at all? If there aren’t, Gwenpool’s going to die of boredom!"
"With so many comic creators in the Multiverse, can’t just one of them make something new and interesting!?"
Her pink hair bounced as she flailed dramatically, whining and kicking her legs.
And then, suddenly—she spotted it.
In one of the universes, the number of comics had shot up by more than a dozen all at once.
"There are new comics! Are they really new!?"
Gwenpool immediately perked up and zoomed in to check.
Sometimes, "new comics" weren’t really new at all. They might just be spin-offs or alternate-universe rehashes.
And Gwenpool had read thousands of those. She was sick of them.
But this time... this time was different.
"Wait a sec!"
She flipped through Secret Class, her face going red with shock.
"They’re new! Completely new! More than a dozen at once! Who made these? Which universe!?"
She quickly stopped reading and checked the source.
"Whoa~! A new character! Who’s Lorien Su? Why isn’t he in the other universes? Wow, he’s amazing! So interesting!"
