Marvel: The Psychologist Who Stole Wanda and Gwen's Hearts!

Chapter 73 - 073: Hela Goes Wild Gaming! Sending Wanda to Kamar-Taj!

After Wanda and little Hela finished washing the dishes, Lorien took them out for a stroll—just wandering around and shopping.

He walked in the middle, holding Wanda’s hand with his right and little Hela’s with his left.

Strangely enough, the hostility Wanda had toward Hela before seemed to vanish when it came to little Hela. She showed almost no animosity at all. In fact, even if Lorien leaned over and kissed little Hela’s cheek twice, Wanda wouldn’t bat an eye.

Why? He had no idea—and he wasn’t about to ask. Matters of the heart had no clear answers, only feelings.

And so, their lovely Sunday passed in happy ease.

Then it hit Lorien—tomorrow was Monday.

Damn.

Still, going to work meant slacking off, so it didn’t really bother him.

They roamed the streets until nightfall, and then, like a family of three, Lorien led them back home—Wanda on one side, little Hela on the other.

His place was huge. Since he had bought both the entire top floor and the one below it in the Northern Tower, just the top floor alone could be remodeled into dozens of bedrooms or living spaces.

When renovating, though, he hadn’t gone overboard. Only five rooms had been done up; the rest were left empty for now. That still made it easy to give Hela her own room.

The master bedroom, of course, belonged to him and Wanda.

...

By eight o’clock that evening, little Hela was glued to the PS5.

"Hoo hoo~~ This is so much fun! Lorien!"

Lorien was sitting cross-legged on the thick carpet, playing a hack-and-slash game. Hela sat beside him, watching with growing excitement until she couldn’t hold back anymore.

"I want to play! I want to play!"

With no other choice, Lorien handed her a controller.

"How do I play? Lorien, teach me!"

"Check the controls—this one attacks, this one dodges, this is your skill, and this moves your character."

She listened intently as he explained, and Wanda, watching from the side, couldn’t help smiling at the scene.

Before long, Hela had picked it up easily—unsurprising for a goddess with a sharp mind.

"Kill you! And you! And him too!"

She was having the time of her life, gleefully mowing down NPCs. In fact, she was more ruthless in-game than she was in real life. Out there, she might only kill people or other races; here, she went out of her way to slaughter anything—even chickens.

Lorien and Wanda exchanged a look.

This kid was seriously bloodthirsty.

"Hoo hoo hoo~~~ Perfect! I’ll kill them all! Every last one!"

She twisted and leaned with every move her character made, even giving little grunts when her in-game self jumped.

Lorien shrugged at Wanda. "She’s the Goddess of Death—killing’s her thing. Forget it, let’s go to bed."

"But..." Wanda glanced at Hela in concern. "If we leave her like this, won’t she play all night?"

"If you drag her away now, that’s when she won’t sleep all night. Let her be." Lorien waved it off. "She’s a god, not a human—she won’t die from missing sleep."

"Oh... I see." Wanda nodded.

Lorien ruffled Hela’s hair. "Wanda and I are heading to bed. If you get tired of playing, go crash in one of the other rooms."

"Got it~~~" she drawled. "I don’t know how you can sleep so early... You’re so wea—"

Before she could finish, Lorien pinched her cheeks and lifted her up.

"What was that?"

"It hurts, it hurts! I’m sorry! I won’t say it again!"

"Hmph."

Satisfied, Lorien let her go, and she dove right back into her game. Wanda just laughed and followed him into their room.

...

By 10 p.m., little Hela was still in the living room, fully immersed in her game.

Lorien and Wanda lay under the covers in bed, chatting. She snuggled into his chest, tracing little shapes with her finger as she spoke.

"I’m planning to head to Kamar-Taj tomorrow morning to start my training."

"So soon?" Lorien raised a brow. "You’re not going to stay a few more days?"

Wanda shook her head.

"No. You’ve got your own things to do tomorrow, and I should do mine too. The sooner I get to Kamar-Taj, the sooner I can finish and come back. Once I’ve learned enough magic, we’ll have plenty of time together."

She wasn’t wrong. It was always better to get things done early than to drag them out. And with magic, the earlier you learned, the stronger you could become.

Lorien agreed with her reasoning—but as he looked at Wanda’s increasingly flushed face, he leaned in close to her ear with a smirk.

"So... is it really about learning magic? Or is it that you just can’t handle me anymore?"

In an instant, Wanda’s cheeks turned crimson. She glared up at him, gave his chest a light punch, and complained,

"Last night, I thought I was going to die and you still wouldn’t stop. Then this morning, when I was still half-asleep, you woke me up again... In the end, I don’t even know if I passed out or fell asleep."

"You... you’re terrible!"

She said it like a scolding, but Lorien could see her body softening again.

He chuckled knowingly, lowered his voice by her ear, and whispered,

"Mm?"

"...Mm..." she replied weakly.

He was just about to make a move when Wanda pressed her hands against his chest.

"Easy... I have to go to Kamar-Taj tomorrow. When I’m gone... y-you can... let Gwen handle it..."

With that, she buried her head under the covers.

Lorien’s smile widened, looking every bit the hungry wolf eyeing his prey.

...

Outside the room, little Hela kept her eyes on her game, but her face was growing redder by the minute.

In thousands of years, she had never experienced anything like that. To put it bluntly, she was still a centuries-old virgin.

And now, listening to all this... she was finding it hard to keep herself under control, like a cat was scratching at her heart.

With no way to vent it, she channeled it into rage—slaughtering monsters in her hack-and-slash game with even more ferocity.

Forget chickens—if the game let her, she’d be slicing earthworms in half lengthwise.

...

The next morning, Lorien woke as usual and started his day by snapping his fingers to clean the room.

He glanced at Wanda still sleeping soundly, then at the clock—it was just after seven. Still early.

No morning workout today.

Getting out of bed, he opened the bedroom door and found Hela curled up asleep on a thick floor mat. She was using a sofa cushion as a pillow and had dragged a quilt from somewhere to cover herself, sleeping right there in the middle of the living room.

Lorien shook his head helplessly.

"Ridiculous."

He went to wash up, shower, and start breakfast—for himself, Wanda... and the silly little loli.

...

"Sniff... sniff..."

The smell of noodles woke her up. She blinked, threw off the quilt, and padded over to him.

"What’s for breakfast?"

"Noodles." Lorien stirred the pot and glanced her way—then froze.

"Hela... you’re not wearing a single thing."

She froze, glanced down, and shuddered. Determined to play it cool, she strolled out at a leisurely pace, muttering,

"So what? If your clothes come off in the middle of a desperate fight, are you gonna stop to pick them up?"

Still, the moment she stepped out of sight, she rushed to put on the skirt Lorien had bought her yesterday.

A few minutes later, with the noodles nearly done, Lorien went to wake Wanda.

"Mmm..."

Wanda let out a sleepy hum, opening her drowsy eyes to look at Lorien. Then she reached out her arms.

"Hold me..."

Lorien scooped her up without hesitation, the curvaceous Wanda fitting easily in his embrace. Under little Hela’s stunned gaze, he set Wanda down on a chair.

"Hurry and brush your teeth. Breakfast is ready."

"Okay~~~"

Hela watched as Wanda headed off to the bathroom, then turned back to see Lorien serving the noodles.

When Wanda still hadn’t returned after a while, Hela frowned in curiosity.

"Lorien, why are you so good to her? You’re stronger than a god. You don’t have to treat her like that."

Lorien placed three bowls of noodles on the table and answered at an unhurried pace.

"Family might have differences in strength, but that’s for the outside world, not inside. Feelings can be pure—so pure that nothing else matters. Would you use your power to kill your own family?"

As soon as the words left his mouth, Lorien realized his mistake.

"Yes, I would," Hela replied without hesitation.

She really would.

"...Alright." Lorien rubbed his forehead. "What I mean is, when you love someone, power starts to matter less. And when you’re together, that power combines to face the world—making you both even stronger."

Hela thought about it, but still didn’t understand. Lorien didn’t expect her to. With her personality, it would’ve been strange if she had. He only hoped that when she eventually did understand, she wouldn’t regret it.

...

When Wanda came back, the three of them quickly finished the noodles Lorien had made. Then he told Wanda to pack her clothes and belongings.

A short while later, she returned with two bags, and they went to the living room. Lorien was ready to take her to Kamar-Taj, and Wanda’s face showed clear anticipation.

"Where are you going?"

Hela, seeing Lorien preparing to leave, asked with curiosity.

"To Kamar-Taj, a sacred place for sorcerers. Want to come?" Lorien asked casually.

"Yes!" Hela agreed without hesitation.

"Fine. But once we’re there, you can’t run off and you can’t use your powers," Lorien warned. "If you break that rule, I can kill you myself—no need for Odin to step in."

Hela nodded quickly. Lorien told her to change her shoes, then snapped his fingers.

Snap~

In the next moment, the three of them appeared in the Ancient One’s temple at Kamar-Taj.

Inside, a female sorcerer had been waiting for some time—it was the Ancient One herself. When she saw Lorien arrive with his companions, she stood and bowed slightly to him.

It was a rare show of respect. After all, when Lorien wasn’t around, she was the most powerful being on Earth.

Hela’s eyes went wide. The Ancient One... bowed to Lorien? That meant his strength was above hers! If that was the case, then her father Odin might not be as far ahead as she once thought.

Lorien acknowledged the bow with a nod, then patted Wanda’s shoulder.

"This is Wanda. I don’t need to explain— you can see for yourself. Please teach her to become a true sorcerer."

The Ancient One smiled. "By teaching her, I’m also helping protect Earth."

"Yes," Lorien agreed. Once Wanda became powerful, she would naturally safeguard the planet. That made the Ancient One more than willing.

Her gaze shifted to the small green-haired girl standing behind Lorien.

"I sense a familiar aura from her."

Lorien couldn’t help but laugh. "She’s Hela, Odin’s eldest daughter. Lost her divine power and turned into a loli—so now I call her little Hela."

The Ancient One chuckled, and even Wanda smiled at that.

"Hey~!" Hela protested, nearly jumping up. "Didn’t you say you wouldn’t tell anyone about me? What if that old bastard Odin finds out?"

If she had stayed quiet, it might have passed. But the way she flailed only made everyone laugh harder.

"Hey!!! You’re still laughing! So annoying!!!"

Lorien ruffled her green hair, forcing himself to calm his grin. "Alright, alright, no more laughing. And as for leaking your secret—do you really think the Ancient One’s the type to tell? You should focus more on keeping yourself hidden."

Still, he couldn’t help but smirk again.

"Ahhh!" Hela lunged at him, her tiny fists thumping against his side. "You’re still laughing! I’ll knock that grin right off your face!"

Lorien had to admit, he liked her loli form far more than her mature one. With the adult Hela, his first instinct had been a knee to the gut and a grab to the head. The teenage version was better, but still just "alright."

But loli Hela?

Perfect.

...

The Ancient One called for two female sorcerers to take Wanda to her room and settle her in. She was thoughtful enough to choose women for the task, understanding the subtle considerations at play—and knowing Lorien surely had his own reasons for bringing Wanda here.

Once Wanda left, the Ancient One turned back to Lorien to speak of other matters.

Hela, meanwhile, wandered around the temple. These were things she had never been allowed to see or touch before—places the Ancient One would never have let her enter.

"Stephen arrived here not long ago," the Ancient One said. "He’s starting from scratch, just like everyone else."

"That’s good," Lorien replied.

"But he’s unfocused," she continued. "Too many worldly concerns are clouding his cultivation."

Lorien nodded. "Sounds like I’ll need to set him straight."

The Ancient One agreed—that was exactly what she wanted.

"Come on, little Hela," Lorien called. "Let’s go meet a sorcerer."

"Coming~!"
