Ultimately, he could only become a wandering Hero, though fortunately, with a few Puppet Dragons in tow, no one bothered him along his journey.

But things couldn't continue like this, most importantly, during his wanderings, he discovered a problem with the Puppet Dragons made from economical materials.

They needed energy replenishment.

Initially, he supplied Mana to the Puppet Dragons.

Later, as his Mana became insufficient, he had to start drawing on the Hero's Life Force.

This left the Hero helpless; he had to find some solution.

If he lost those few Puppet Dragons, he would truly be doomed.

Hence, the Hero set his sights on the Earth Veins.

He discovered that when the Puppet Dragons drew Power of the Earth Veins, they could level up.

This presented an opportunity to him.

So the Hero led the Puppet Dragons into the Underworld, extracting power from some mines or Earth Veins to enhance his Puppet Dragons.

Until one day when another battle broke out among the Seven Great Forces, he unexpectedly joined the fight as an independent Hero.

Behind him, followed three level 19 Puppet Dragons.
