Princess Wanhe laughed and said, "Miss Mu, which of the two paintings do you think is better?" Without a doubt, Yueyao’s painting was incomparable to Mu Qinglian’s. Princess Wanhe might not have been skilled with her hands, but with such a father, her eyes, honed over many years, were second to none.
Mu Qinglian straightforwardly admitted, "I lost." Although Yueyao took four or five times longer than she did, judging solely by the painting, she had lost.
Yueyao’s entire painting was executed exceptionally well, and the addition of the scriptural texts played a crucial role in giving it the finishing touch. She might not want to admit it, but the truth was that there was no basis for comparison between the two paintings.
