Yueyao, noticing the beautiful weather, instructed her servants to set up a bamboo rattan chair under the apricot tree. She lay in the chair reading, but after a while, her eyes grew tired, and she closed them, not expecting to fall asleep soon after.
The wind blew, the trees rustled, and the leaves fell, landing on the face and clothing of the sleeping person. After falling twice, Yueyao was almost hidden beneath the leaves.
Xi Yu wanted to remove the leaves from Yueyao’s body, but Xiang Wei stopped her. Xiang Wei thought the dried, yellow leaves looked quite nice on Yueyao.
