Although they hadn’t learned to ride horses, since they had come out, Yueyao didn’t want to go back so soon, so the group went up the mountain to enjoy the scenery.

Bai Mingzhu found it strange that Yueyao constantly talked to Tingzheng, frequently quoting ancient idioms. Bai Mingzhu couldn’t understand what Yueyao was thinking. She had been to this mountain several times, and Yueyao had climbed it for more than two months. Yet, Yueyao never seemed bored by it, and Bai Mingzhu didn’t see what there was to admire.

Bai Mingzhu didn’t want to accompany Yueyao in climbing the mountain every day, so she turned and whispered to Bai Yi, "Have the household send two horses over immediately."

Before the horses arrived, Tingzheng called out that he wanted to return.

After spending three days on the mountain, Tingzheng was already satisfied. He had never been able to stay with his sister for a whole day before, and this was an exception. With high spirits, he said, "Sister, I need to go back tomorrow. Otherwise, I won’t finish my studies."

Bai Mingzhu blushed with shame upon hearing this.

Yueyao patted Tingzheng’s head, feeling proud of her sensible brother.

As Bai Mingzhu saw Tingzheng off in the carriage, she didn’t forget to say, "Next time, I’ll have the horses ready for you."
