Yueyao turned her head to look at Luo Mingzhu’s sullen expression and smiled gently. After interacting for two months, she had come to understand Luo Mingzhu’s personality quite thoroughly. In fact, Luo Mingzhu had a good nature and was straightforward, it was just that her temper was very bad, but if she slightly corrected her temper, she would be quite pleasant to get along with. And with her own urging over this period, Mingzhu’s bad temper had indeed been restrained quite a lot.

After going through so much, Yueyao actually liked Luo Mingzhu’s simple nature very much, laughing loudly when happy, and putting on a straight face without speaking to anyone when not. Being with Luo Mingzhu allowed Yueyao to relax because she didn’t need to be guarded and could open her heart in becoming friends with Mingzhu.

Yueyao looked at Luo Mingzhu, thinking to herself that it would be quite good if Mingzhu could always be like this. With this thought, Yueyao’s heart stirred, and she pretended to speak casually, "Last time at Four Treasures Square, I also saw Shen Conghao, and the man with him even mistook me for you."

Luo Mingzhu asked with some curiosity, "Who? How could he mistake you for me when we look so different? What kind of eyesight is that?" It was very strange indeed, it required quite a skill to mix them up. They looked different, had different heights, there was no similarity between them at all.

Yueyao laughed and said, "It might be because I was wearing a veil at the time, and he couldn’t see my face, so he mistook me for you."

Luo Mingzhu frowned and said, "Even with a veil, it’s impossible to mistake us. I am a whole head taller than you."

Seeing this, Yueyao continued, "Not only that, this person was rude and said that I had learnt of his whereabouts and purposely waited for him at Four Treasures Square, telling me not to waste my effort, saying he wasn’t interested in me. It’s really funny; he thinks too highly of himself with a face that looks okay but unfortunately has a brain filled with mush."

Yueyao pretended not to notice the pale look on Luo Mingzhu’s face and went on, "To think Shen Conghao would be friends with such a person; he surely can’t be any good. Ah, and to be betrothed to such a person, it’s really worrisome."

Luo Mingzhu, however, didn’t hear the latter part of what Yueyao said; she grabbed Yueyao’s hand and asked, "What did you say? Did he really say that he wasn’t interested in me?" Luo Mingzhu automatically substituted Yueyao for herself; the idea that Brother Xuan didn’t like her was something Luo Mingzhu absolutely couldn’t accept.
