Yueyao voiced her thoughts, "I have one condition, if Miss Luo can give me two guards with high martial skills, I will agree to be your study companion."
Luo Mingzhu stared at Yueyao and said, "Did I hear that correctly?" She had expected Yueyao to ask for jewelry, or those precious paintings, or maybe famous Guqin, Chess, and other invaluable items, but never had she expected Yueyao to ask for female guards, which was truly beyond her expectations.
Bai Yi, on the other hand, was not surprised; she had long noticed that Yueyao felt insecure and wanted two people close by for protection, nothing about this was unexpected.
Yueyao nodded, "You heard it right. I would like two guards with high martial skills. It’s just a shame I cannot find suitable ones myself."
Luo Mingzhu was indeed spoiled in nature, with little interest in Guqin, Chess, Calligraphy, and Painting, but she was actually quite smart. Hearing Yueyao’s words, she asked without delay, "Is someone trying to harm you?"
