Matsumoto drew his sword but the confusing thing was that the Pirate Lord didn’t even look in his direction and just continued to stare at Helen, completely ignoring the guy that was in a position to cut him down if he chose to.

The Helen woman tilted her head at him, "Gosh, were you really that dumb? Are you still unable to tell what is happening right now?"
"I know that you are betraying me, is that right?"
"No, no. We’re following Matsumoto in turning against you, that’s what it is."
Yeah... Don’t you see the guy holding his sword menacingly beside you right-- Oh wait... The guy was glaring at Helen, not the Pirate Lord...
