Chapter 825: Kevin Voss
Meanwhile, from the eastern ridge of Azure Wolf Mountain, a new figure emerged—a young man clad in green robes, moving cautiously up the slope. He was protected by a shimmering shell of vital essence and stepped lightly, clearly aware of the dangers of this ancient snowy region.
His eyes scanned his surroundings with keen interest, clearly searching for something specific. As he reached a halfway point up the slope, his gaze swept across the cliff wall—and then it stopped. A glimmer of awe lit up in his expression.
Just above him, nestled against the cliff face and bathed in soft snowlight, was a spiritual flower that seemed to glow with its own ethereal brilliance. Its petals were like frost-forged crystal, exuding a fine mist of pure spiritual energy.
"Ice Spirit Flower?"
The young man in green shirt was overjoyed, his face was flushed. He had not thought that he had such good luck that he could find such a magical medicine as the Ice Spirit Flower.
He was so excited that he let go of the protective shield and picked the ice spirit flowers with one hand.
But at this moment, a snow-white insect as thick as a little finger and about an inch long crawled out from the pistil of the Ice Spirit Flower and bit the back of his hand. Blood splattered everywhere and the young man in green screamed in pain.
Immediately, his palms froze at a speed visible to the naked eye and he could not move at all.
"Frost Snow Silkworm?" He whispered, voice trembling. The tiny, pale-blue insect sat perched atop the pistil of a glowing Ice Spirit Flower, its body semi-transparent like frozen silk, but its eyes shimmered with a murderous gleam.
Before he could react, the silkworm lunged, its tiny jaws gleaming with frost. Panic surged through him. His face turned pale as a sickening numbness spread through his body. He staggered back, clutching his bitten wrist where purplish-black veins were already starting to form, his lips trembling and turning the same hue.
