Chapter 706: Ability to unlock all dimensions
Out of all the four concepts he had grasped—flame, lightning, space, and sword—Max had only gathered true inheritances for flame. His Flame Tyrant Inheritance, the Crimson Reaper Flame inheritance, and the Black Sun Inheritance all gave him a wellspring of resources to grow his flame-based techniques.
For the sword, while he didn’t have an inheritance in the traditional sense, the Sky Shattering Invincible Sword Art at least gave him a structured path to develop his sword concept.
But when it came to space and lightning, things were far less certain. He had no inheritances for space at all. Not even a dimension connected to it. He hadn’t even encountered a legacy that could guide him in refining his spatial concept.
It left a void in his cultivation roadmap, a silent corner of his power he could feel but not yet develop.
He sighed softly as he walked, speaking his thoughts aloud. "It’s strange... out of all the dimensions I have, I’m lacking the Dimension of Space," he said, a tinge of frustration creeping into his tone.
Space was an elusive, high-level concept—rare even among the elites. Still, it felt like something he should already have access to, especially considering how naturally his body and instincts reacted to this concept.
But lightning—that was a different story. The Dimension of Lightning was already established within him. More importantly, the Floor of Inheritance inside that dimension held numerous legacies. Dozens, maybe more.
They were locked away behind comprehension thresholds and lightning trials, waiting for him to prove himself. He just had to unlock them.
If he couldn’t push forward in space just yet, then he would take lightning to its next level.
