The elders, regardless of their take on Kent’s recent performance, were all taken aback.
"Just what was he thinking by picking that place as his cultivation peak?" Elder Mikko asked, sitting in the Grand Hall with the other elders and Grand Elder Esper.
"You are asking the wrong people, Elder Mikko. Why don’t you direct this question to Kent himself? I am sure we all need to know why he chose that place."
Elder Mikko glared at the elder who spoke, but she didn’t say anything.
They all looked confused when the news of Kent’s decision reached them.
"What did Lady Enzi say about his decision?"
"She said nothing. Right after she chose that half-elf as her disciple, she went back to her dwelling and hasn’t come out yet.
Old Sword is also in seclusion, and as the only two people to have interacted with Kent the most, none of us know what to do."
"This is just too much. We have to do something before the sect leader finds out we have allowed such a promising disciple to pick such a place as his cultivation peak."
While the elders were trying to understand Kent’s decision, the disciples were also having a difficult time adapting to Kent’s sudden decision.
