Chapter 492: Glass shattering
Seeing no sign of surrender from Michael, Uncle Jack got annoyed. The little boy should have been cowering under the great power of his Dragon by now. The entire Sanctum was getting burned by his fiery breath!
"I’ll tell you a little secret, Michael. I am the one responsible for your family’s downfall!" the Dragon roared.
"That’s right! Your uncle Max was stupid enough to fall into one of my scams. HAHAHAHA! It was actually so easy. I didn’t have to do anything as the idiot was so desperate for a win that he believed every word I said even if I had no evidence.
You should have seen the look on his face when he realized it was a scam. He even tried to report it to the Association. But of course, I didn’t let that happen. I used my influence as a royal to erase all traces of my dealings with him.
And you know what I did with the money? I used it to hire the herbalist that concocted the poison I used to try and assassinate the Duchess!"
Uncle Jack’s words were full of spite and venom, intended to get some sort of reaction from Michael.
But instead of getting angry at the Dragon, Michael just walked towards the corner of the Sanctum, directly where Uncle Jack’s real body was located.
Uncle Jack’s heart stopped for a moment as he saw this. But he quickly regained his composure once he realized that it was just a coincidence. Michael couldn’t have seen through his Aubility.
"My Aubility allows me to summon the help of other Dragons!" Uncle Jack proclaimed.
And just like he said, the figures of five more Dragons appeared on the horizon, spreading their wings wide and soaring towards their location.
It wasn’t long before they landed on the ground and started releasing streams of differently colored fiery breaths.
