Chapter 486: Poison ball
They couldn’t believe what they saw. Python’s weapon was completely shattered, while Michael remained unharmed.
"What happened?!" Uncle Jack complained. "Why did you bring a faulty weapon?!"
Python looked at the ends of his own nunchucks, an expression of bewilderment flashing across his face. He knew his weapon was in its best shape. And yet it was destroyed all the same.
He saw it clearly. Before the nunchucks hit Michael, an invisible force counteracted the force of his lunge and completely repelled the attack.
But it wasn’t just that. Coming in contact with the invisible shield somehow deteriorated the quality of his nunchucks before it eventually shattered into a million pieces.
Python looked at Michael with a lot more caution now. He thought that the boy was an easy target. But as it turned out, he had an incredibly complex and powerful defensive system that protected him. No wonder Michael looked so confident in accepting the duel.
Seeing as melee attacks were of no use, Python stepped back and put some distance between him and Michael.
"That’s fine. Use your abilities as an assassin! Battle him from all sides" Uncle Jack shouted, still optimistic.
Python stopped backing away and began running around in circles around Michael.
Soon, his body began to blur and blend with the surroundings. It wasn’t long before he completely disappeared and became one with the environment.
"HAHAHA! See if you catch him now," Uncle Jack goaded. "His skill allows him to shoot incredibly powerful shots of magic at a distance. You won’t even know where the shot will be coming from!"
