Wasn’t he here to seek treatment from her?
"Miss, come and take a look." Aunt Xue walked toward the kitchen and opened the fridge.
The fridge was packed full, all with meat!
"Son-in-law said you like meat, so he brought a lot over today, all top-quality stuff. He even complained that the fridge was too small and said he’d replace it with a bigger one for us. I told him there’s no need, this kitchen is too small, even if we got a bigger fridge, it wouldn’t fit."
Yan Qianyi stared blankly at the meat.
"Miss, all this top-quality meat is very expensive, and the son-in-law being an orphan doesn’t have much money, I reckon he spent all his earnings on buying you meat. Such a good man, shouldn’t you cherish him well? Just stop quarreling with the son-in-law over trifles."
Aunt Xue looked at Yan Qianyi, but saw her swallowing her saliva while staring at the meat.
"Miss, aren’t you... moved at all?"
"Aunt Xue, can you make me a midnight snack now?" Yan Qianyi pointed at the lamb rack that was about to squeeze out of the fridge, "Just roast that lamb rack, there’s no more room for it."
