The Chef Rules the Last Days

Those who wished to stealthily wait at the supermarket had to be willing to sacrifice.

As pre-dawn approached and the air still held a slight chill, a family of three in a small house had a conversation. After the father hugged his wife and child forcefully, he ran in the opposite direction of the supermarket without looking back.

While running, he stomped his feet hard, his face etched with the despair of heading resolutely to his death.

A monstrous creature from deep underground emerged from the concrete just seconds after he ran out, biting his lower body and severing him at the waist. Before being dragged underground, he managed to look back and yell desperately, "Run... fast!"

The mother, with tears streaming down her face, picked up her child and rushed towards the supermarket.

Someone had willingly become a decoy, and the remaining survivors in the town rushed toward the supermarket as if their lives didn’t matter.

As soon as the people in the small house heard the noise, they quickly gathered their belongings and prepared to rush out. Li Qian pulled back a corner of the curtain and sneered at the scene outside, "Are they all so eager to die?"

Lu Chen walked to the window and his eyebrows twisted fiercely.

Su Mo leaned over to look outside beside his hand and her face turned cold, "I clearly wrote those words on the note... Are they stupid? Doesn’t the hole on the first floor of the supermarket indicate that this creature can burrow into houses? With all this commotion, do they want to be wiped out in one fell swoop?!"

Truth be told, she was a bit angry. She believed she had made her greatest commitment, yet these residents trapped here had already lost all sense to fear.

"Maybe someone else instigated them," Li Qian glanced at another window, where a large family next door still stood motionless in their room.
