With the large iron pot, Su Mo cooked a pot for each of the seven people in the team. She was the last one to bathe, scrubbing herself from head to toe to get rid of the sticky, smelly mucus, even using shampoo and body wash.
After washing and coming out of the tent, Su Mo felt the breeze was refreshingly dry.
"I haven’t had such a refreshing bath in a long time," Jianxiong laughed loudly as he sniffed his own arm.
Su Mo nodded in strong agreement.
"Tomorrow, after a day’s walk, we’ll be dirty again," Rong Bai, sitting not far from them on the ground near his tent, said with a somber look.
"Who said we’re walking?" Lu Chen glanced at him before draping an arm around Su Mo’s shoulder.
Remembering that before they had descended into the well, Lu Chen had stored his own car, Rong Bai’s tense face suddenly eased into a smile. He was not one to suffer losses.
They all stood outside in the clearing, Su Mo drying her hair, holding a cup of hot tea in her hands.
