Both Raphael and Leo screamed... Raphael screamed in fear but Leo screamed both in fear and the way she hugged him so tightly he felt he might breaking few bones.
The only person who was enjoying this was... Ophis~
Ophis smirked, a wide grin tugging at the corner of her lips. Her eyes gleamed with amusement, watching Leo and Raphael flail and scream at every shadow and sound.
Actually... this might not be as boring as she’d thought.
Especially the way those two kept shrieking like children dragged into a nightmare.
She was definitely enjoying this.
Just as they were about to reach the end of the maze, all three of them paused.
A figure lay ahead, wrapped completely in white cloth, positioned awkwardly on the floor right before the glowing red "EXIT" sign.
The fog curled gently around it.
Raphael froze on the spot, not moving a single muscle. Her body was practically glued to Leo’s side, arms locked around his. Leo stared at the figure too, breath stuck in his throat. Even though he knew it was probably part of the setup—just a prop, maybe even a staff member—his legs refused to move.
