A searing green light exploded out of nowhere, flooding the battlefield with blinding radiance. Kai’s head snapped toward the source instinctively, eyes narrowing through the intense glow.
His breath hitched.
It was Pride.
Her body, once battered and barely moving, now shimmered with an overwhelming green aura. The deep wounds that had torn into her skin just moments ago were vanishing right before his eyes, her flesh stitching together rapidly as if time itself had reversed.
