Adam’s voice still ringing with his audacious declaration of war echoed in the stunned silence of the cafeteria.
"And it doesn’t matter," he continued his gaze sweeping over the leadership of the Red Team who were still seated at their table
"if the entire Academy stands against me. Or even if the Emperor himself stands in my way. I will not be stopped from protecting my own."
The moment the last word left his lips he moved.
He spun with a speed that was nothing short of supernatural. In a single fluid motion he lashed out with a vicious kick.
It was aimed directly at Samba’s face. The kick was so fast so powerful that the very air seemed to tear around it with a soft ripping sound.

The moment "Eric" had entered the cafeteria she had discreetly cast a powerful defensive barrier around their table.
