I'm Trapped Inside a Prince as the Most Powerful Entity

Chapter 61: The Spinning Doom

Adam had to act now, and he had to act decisively. He needed a power, a single attack, that could eliminate as many Syndicate members as possible without harming any innocent prisoners who might still be trapped within the base.

Adam raised both his hands in front of him. He closed his eyes and focused all his remaining will, all the power he could still draw from Eric’s rapidly destabilizing form. Alina, standing a short distance away, watched him with wide, worried eyes, sensing the immense energy gathering around him.

A shimmering point of light appeared between Adam’s outstretched hands. It pulsed, then rapidly expanded, taking on a solid, circular form. It was a disc, about the size of Adam’s own head. The outer edge of the disc was lined with sharp, wicked-looking serrations, like the teeth of a monstrous saw. The disc itself was a sleek, metallic silver, and it began to spin slowly, clockwise.

As it spun, a brilliant golden energy began to coalesce in the very center of the disc, forming a glowing core. This golden light then spread outwards, coating the entire surface of the spinning silver disc, making it blaze like a miniature sun, casting dancing shadows down the dark corridor. The speed of its rotation increased rapidly, until it was a humming, terrifying blur of silver and gold.

Alina stared, mesmerized and terrified by the beautiful, deadly object hovering in front of Adam. It pulsed with incredible power, making the air around it vibrate. Adam was still pouring his energy into it, his face pale, his brow furrowed with concentration.

The translucent blue panel of the System Window flashed urgently before Adam’s eyes, visible only to him.

[SYSTEM ALERT: Host body control critical. 1 second remaining.]

This was it. His last moment.

With a final surge of will, Adam thrust his hands forward. "Go!" he commanded, his voice a hoarse whisper.

The instant the word left his lips, dark, shadowy chains erupted from the floor and walls around him. They wrapped around Eric’s body, constricting, pulling. Adam felt his consciousness being ripped away, dragged back towards his own domain, the connection to Eric’s physical form severing.

In the very last fraction of a second, as he was being pulled back, Adam saw the glowing, spinning disc shoot forward from where his hands had been.
