When Ye Zhen returned to the Red Fire Subdivision, it was still the middle of the night, nearly two hours before dawn, but the martial artists within the Red Fire Subdivision were already waiting there on standby. Whether it was Zuo Xiong, Yua Qianlou, or Vice Hall Master Hong Jiyin, they were all pacing anxiously in the courtyard of the subdivision, occasionally sending out a Talisman Communication or two.

But as soon as the communication soared into the sky, it would fall headlong from the sky after merely a few breaths and crash to pieces on the ground.

This usually means that a martial artist has taken the Talisman Lead into their storage ring, or used a secret technique to block the Talisman Lead’s signal, causing the communication to lose its target and plummet from the sky.

"Hey, why hasn’t the altar master come back yet? The sky is about to fall, oh...." Hong Jiyin was visibly worried.
