Amongst these, the Sunshine Hall was the highest, with all members in the Vein Forging Realm.
As for the branch altars, these were the Sun and Moon Divine Sect’s strongholds spread throughout the major Martial Cities in the True Spirit Domain, tasked with developing followers, managing industries, collecting intelligence, and so forth.
The Incense Society was the lowest level of the organization within the Sun and Moon Divine Sect, subordinate to the various branch altars. Each Incense Society, appointed by the Branch Altar Master, was set up in ordinary cities. Some had hundreds to thousands of members, others only a dozen or so, with numerous societies in total.
The Sun and Moon Divine Guards were the most powerful military force within the Sun and Moon Divine Sect, mostly guarding within the Main Temple, ready for orders at any time.
The Sun and Moon Divine Guards had one Great Commander, with three commanders under him, leading the many Divine Guards. Chen Changxing, the large black man from earlier, was the Second Commander of the Sun and Moon Divine Guards. Within the Sun and Moon Divine Sect, his status was second only to the Sect Hierarch, Vice Sect Masters, and several Guardian Elders that were elusive as Divine Dragons.
Just as Vice Sect Master Tian Guizhang had said, the Moonlight Hall indeed held a position second only to the Sunshine Hall in status, and its members were of high standing, with virtually no sect missions assigned; their main task was cultivation.
The most important duty of the Moonlight Hall was to supply new blood to the Sunshine Hall and the Sun and Moon Divine Guards.
This point was evident from the location of the Moonlight Hall itself.
