The ears of a dragon aren’t so different from human ears; the range of tones that a dragon can hear is similar to that of humans. However, due to a dragon’s remarkable ability to identify important sounds and filter out background noise to focus on noteworthy sounds, even the youngest dragons possess keener hearing than the average human.
Under normal circumstances, considering how far Leon and Tassera were walking around and shopping, they certainly wouldn’t be able to hear a call from the beach. Yet, they have long surpassed the mundane; at the very least, they are Titans, capable of hearing even the slightest sounds.
If they took it a step further, they wouldn’t be much different from gods, able to hear their names as soon as someone mentions them, no matter the distance.
At this moment, Tassera was playing with a cat, a cute cow-patterned cat, when her ears twitched suddenly, and she said, "It sounds like our daughter is calling for help?"
Before Tassera finished speaking, she realized that Leon had already transformed into a streak of rainbow light and disappeared, flying back toward the beach they had left.
Even before promising Tassera a serene walk to enjoy their time together, Leon had been worried about their daughter encountering danger. He never expected that such danger would actually occur.
Traffickers or sea monsters, or perhaps some force trying to exploit his daughter to manipulate him.
Now wasn’t the time for those thoughts, nor was there time for them. Hearing his daughter’s cry for help, Leon couldn’t wait to inform Tassera and immediately activated the Long Rainbow Escape to land on the beach. Seeing his daughter safe and sound standing there, he finally let out a long sigh of relief.
