Chapter 363 - 358 Murphy’s Law
Leon still remembered that he and Tassera originally planned to find Betty in Crossroads City, persuade her, then have some fun for a few days and leave for the Red Crown Desert. The main goal remained recruiting the Blue Dragon in the Red Crown Desert. Who would have thought they’d encounter so many events in Crossroads City? Hopefully, nothing unexpected would happen on their journey to the Red Crown Desert.
Thinking about it, Crossroads City is a paradise for smugglers, robbers, and criminals, a world-famous City of Sin with gathered might that a place like the Red Crown Desert could not compare to... Normally, who would want to stay in such a resource-poor desert? The strongest there is probably just an Ancient Blue Dragon, not something to be feared.
Crossroads City is not far from Watchtower Port, at least not far in a straight line. From Crossroads City to the Red Crown Desert, there’s quite a distance to cover. Even flying would take nearly half a day.
Reaching the Red Crown Desert didn’t mean they had reached their destination. After reaching the Red Crown Desert, Leon followed Tassera and flew for another two hours or so before landing on a small hill.
"Why did we stop?" Leon asked, "Aren’t we going directly there?"
"After flying for so long, aren’t you hungry?" Tassera retorted, looking somewhat preoccupied.
"I wasn’t until you mentioned it." In his Sleeve of the Universe’s small space, Leon had stored plenty of food and water for emergencies, even though he could fast now. "I have food here. What would you like? Whale meat or beef and mutton?"
"Camel meat, haven’t had camel meat in a long time." Tassera stuck out her tongue and licked her teeth.
"No one raises camels in Watchtower Port... If you really want some, once we go back, I can have people raise a few camels for you," Leon said, suddenly feeling he was on the brink of becoming a foolish king, willing to do anything for a smile from the beauty... just having people raise some camels wasn’t to that extent, right?
