Chapter 335 - 330: The Next One
Metal Dragons were created by Bahamut, Colorful Dragons by Tiamat, but no one knows who created Dragon Turtles, or more importantly, why they were created.
No matter the origin, Dragon Turtles undoubtedly belong to the dragon family. As dragons, their vitality is particularly tenacious, but no matter how tough they are, dealing with the bindings and electric shocks of the legendary beast Kraken would be a difficult feat.
Seeing that the Dragon Turtle was near death, Leon regretfully let it go. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Fiora and, on impulse, silently extended a tentacle toward her. His tentacle was too massive to ignore, though. Fiora glanced at it once, then lightly kicked backward to distance herself, leaving him unsuccessful in his attempt.
"I saw that," Fiora questioned him. "What were you planning to do?"
Leon did not answer Fiora; he had no way to respond to her. He turned and swam toward the Sahuagin city, where a vast number of fishmen filled the view. Suddenly, he remembered he hadn’t used the Soul Summoning Mantra in a long time. The mantra was merciless in dealing with weaker beings—simply reciting it once would cause the Sahuagin to either commit suicide or slaughter each other, leaving few survivors.
That said, Leon hadn’t gone through all this trouble for a massacre—he wanted the Sahuagin to submit to him. But first, he needed to subject them to something harsh; only through experiencing darkness would they truly understand the value of light. Controlling himself, he refrained from using the Soul Summoning Mantra and instead extended a tentacle to crush a Sahuagin Fishman Warrior into a mist of blood. Then, he coiled his tentacle around a small Sahuagin house and squeezed it until it exploded.
Leon slaughtered and rampaged his way to the heart of the Sahuagin city, where he found an exquisitely crafted statue of Shark God Sekoula. The sculpture depicted a shark twisting in the water, its bloodthirsty mouth wide open. Leon hesitated for a moment but didn’t destroy the statue—instead, he took the gold and silver items and ceremonial tools placed around it.
Suddenly, in the dark, a group of red-eyed Shell Sharks covered in shells and coral materialized and began attacking Leon frantically.
Due to their sheer numbers and remarkable swimming speed, even Leon, transformed into the Kraken, couldn’t immediately find a solution. After brief contemplation, he expelled a cloud of ink that enveloped the surrounding water. Then he unleashed a powerful electrical surge, quickly rendering countless Shell Sharks belly-up.
