When Leon woke up, he found that Cecilia had already been awake for some time. Though possessing the extraordinary recovery capability of a dragon, her skin was still dotted with red marks. Leaning her face to the side as she lay next to him, she asked, "When did you wake up?"
"Been awake for a while now," Cecilia replied. "I noticed that my master sleeps so soundly... so soundly that you’d better be wary of enemies sneaking up on you."
"This is my domain... You can guess how many Magic Traps are here. Sneak up on me?" Leon rolled lazily on the bed; he hadn’t completely cleared his grogginess yet.
"Outsiders can’t sneak up on you here, but your bedside companion can," Cecilia’s eyes suddenly turned into vertical pupils, and her slightly parted lips revealed two sharp fangs, resembling a venomous snake.
Leon turned his head to look at Cecilia and said, "My bedside companion could sneak up on me, but I trust my judgment... Would Cecilia ever betray me?"
"Of course not," Cecilia rested her cheek on Leon’s chest. "I would never betray my master."
