Chapter 207 - 206 Spiritual Energy
Leon figured something out and was in a rather good mood. He watched Cecilia fly back from Tassera’s Mage Tower and asked curiously, "Did you ask the Ancient Jade Dragon?"
"Can he help you activate your bloodline?" Leon didn’t think much of it. A mere Ancient Jade Dragon—what could he possibly accomplish?
Cecilia tilted her head and glanced at Leon, complaining sarcastically, "He’s just an Ancient Jade Dragon, nothing more. Sure, he’s lived longer and knows more, but in terms of battle strength, he’s probably weaker than you. He’s not the Gem Dragon God, so of course he doesn’t have abilities like bloodline activation."
"If you were Sadivo’s reincarnation, a Ruby Dragon would do just as well," Cecilia said, staring eagerly at Leon.
"I’m sorry, but I’m not Sadivo’s reincarnation, and I’m not a Ruby Dragon either." Leon said it casually, utterly unapologetic—it was all just a joke to him. "So, does that mean there’s no chance?"
"Not necessarily no chance; I’d say it’s more like a slim one." Cecilia drooped her eyelids, her thorny crown extending from her brow to her spine, sagging listlessly, making her look a bit downcast. "He suggested I interact with spiritual energy more when I have time; maybe there’s a chance to awaken psychic powers."
"You should give it a shot. After all, it’s not like you have much going on," Leon said nonchalantly.
He knew Cecilia had essentially taken over the forest—of course, it was limited to the northern patch near Watchtower Port. The area was much larger than the forest he used to rule, stretching for dozens of kilometers. Her lair had been fully constructed, and she had just begun hoarding treasure. She wasn’t like him, though—he’d plunder tens of thousands of Gold Coins at a time. Her stash was far more modest...
He was quite idle every day, so Cecilia couldn’t be too busy either. Other than eating, drinking, and sleeping, her main duties were patrolling her territory, disciplining her subordinates, or fiddling with her garden.
