"He’s just a teenage dragon, right? Did he really defeat Angmog before?"
Grianna watched the silhouette of the Red Dragon disappear behind the mountains, then turned to the Cloud Giant.
The disparity between a teenage dragon and a mature dragon was something Grianna, as a dragon herself, understood better than anyone else.
A teenage dragon could practically be described as green and untested—almost entirely unknown. They might die at the hands of a Dragon Slayer without even knowing how it happened. By contrast, tales from bards about dragons destroying kingdoms and seizing their treasures were often based on true events involving mature dragons.
"That guy is strong. You can’t treat him like any random teenage dragon. His physique far exceeds other dragons of his age, and he’s also an innate spellcaster. His Frightening Majesty... even I..." Mankus hesitated, unwilling to lose face. "Well... even I would be intimidated for a short moment if he suddenly fixed his gaze on me."
"As for whether he actually defeated Angmog, honestly, I don’t know,"
Mankus mused for a moment before saying, "At the time, he was together with a young Green Dragon. Even if they did defeat Angmog, it must have been a coordinated effort between the two dragons... and even then, it was likely a pyrrhic victory, because I didn’t see him for years afterward until much later."
"Back then, Angmog hadn’t yet entered Blood Scale Frenzy; now he has." Mankus exhaled slowly. "Anyway, even if Leon can’t defeat Angmog, he could still escape. We’ve given him so many potions and spells."
"As long as he lures Angmog here," Mankus gripped his Nail Head Hammer and waved it. "Three against one—Angmog is definitely no match."
The wind howled dramatically.
