The challenge level of Fire Giants is not low, and one must be careful when spectating a battle involving them. Leon landed on a distant hilltop and quickly transformed into human form to avoid being conspicuous, feeling fortunate that the intense battle meant no one noticed him.
"Fire Giants fighting Dwarves?" Cecilia landed beside Leon, who liked watching the excitement and was eager to observe the battle up close but really didn’t have the guts for it. She could handle one Fire Giant at most, but two would be too much for her.
"And Humans," Leon reminded.
Cecilia blinked and asked, "Did the Fire Giants capture slaves?"
Fire Giants, who are Order Evil, enjoy enslaving other creatures for low-tech labor so they can focus on more important tasks, such as forging and crafting things only they can handle. However, compared to Efreeti, they are relatively better masters—not overly cruel but certainly not kind.
Under such circumstances, Fire Giants favor Dwarves as slaves because they believe Dwarves are ideal for servitude. Even when captured and forced to work, Dwarves are driven by nature to give their all to the task at hand, which offers some relief from the feeling of confinement.
"No, it’s not the Fire Giants descending the mountain to capture slaves," Leon looked at the smoking Volcano, realizing they were initially drawn to the Volcano, seeing a stream of Molten River flowing through the iron casting hall halfway up the mountain, "It’s not Fire Giants coming down to take slaves, it looks more like those Humans and Dwarves attacking the Fire Giants."
