Chapter 116: Foundation Establishment
Despite Leon repeatedly inviting everyone to sit down, and even casually using the Object Capture Skill to move a stool next to the fire, no one seemed to take a seat.
An adventurer who liked to boast could at most talk about a hero fighting the Evil Dragon, or a naive young man picking up a Magic Oil Lamp, as these stories are often recounted by bards. Yet the man sitting across the fire could list so many monsters, discussing their strengths and weaknesses at length, which proved he was definitely not a weak opponent.
At a Hag gathering, exchanging information was common; even combined, a few Hags didn’t possess as much knowledge as him, covering Demons, Devils, Celestial Creatures, and abnormalities... and even the Ancient Dominator came up.
Perhaps that gentleman really did defeat the Blue Dragon, though it was just a newly matured Blue Dragon, with an Efreeti as a servant, and had killed a Vampire...
So how could everyone dare to mock him?
Thinking about it, the Green Hag shivered, wishing she could slap herself.
She gave Cecilia a resentful look, holding back her anger, too scared to even sit on the stool next to the fire.
Cecilia felt wronged; for almost a week, she had been calling him "brother" without hearing such stories from him, otherwise, she would’ve noticed it earlier; now, she realized that he must have recognized her identity the first moment.
After waiting about a minute and still seeing no one sit down, Leon couldn’t help but lose his temper and loudly said, "Sit down! Didn’t you hear me talking? Do you really need a special invitation?"
"Sit, sit," the Green Hag finally sat down, half-seated on the stool, "Granny Poli has sat down."
"That’s better," Leon said, chatting warmly with the Green Hag. "I know an aunt called Peggy, do you know her?"
