Chapter 108: Leon’s repeated defeats
"Can I lick you?" Tassera suddenly said.
Leon was originally brimming with confidence, but after hearing that Tassera had seen Rocas, he became quite subdued. Now, hearing the Blue Dragon’s words, he was outright startled, and said, "Of course you can’t."
"Why not?" Tassera asked with a whiny tone, "Don’t be so stingy."
"I was going to say, don’t be so perverted," Leon replied with disdain.
"I want to sleep with you," Tassera said, pretending to be serious, but then she couldn’t help laughing to herself, her shoulders shaking, her face blushing with laughter, leaning forward and backward, clearly playing the role of a teasing older sister.
Leon remained expressionless, having now witnessed the unpleasant side of Tassera.
Tassera struggled to hold back her laughter, took a couple of deep breaths, and patted her trembling chest before looking towards Leon and saying, "I’m serious though. Really serious this time. You may look like a teenage dragon, but your mind is already quite mature... Do you think I’m qualified to be your partner?"
Leon wasn’t familiar with the courtship customs of Blue Dragons, having only read about those of Red Dragons in manuals, where typically the female Red Dragons initiate the courtship, but it was known that male Red Dragons also do the same. He said, "Even if my mind is mature, I’m still a teenage dragon and don’t have the capacity for that."
Leon pursed his lips, recalling how he had been busy with work and reluctantly participated in the blind dates his parents had arranged during the holidays; it was practically a quick introduction of work and family background followed by the inquisition of his feelings when he got home – truly a dreadful experience.
Tassera appeared calm in response to Leon’s words, lightly touching her face and saying, "You’re a teenage dragon, and I am merely a young dragon. By the time you reach the youth stage, I’ll just have become an adult dragon – very young, very young. I can wait."
"To be honest, I don’t feel the slightest urge right now," Leon said, unsure of what facial expression to show.
