A Game Of Chess With A Vampire

Chapter 62: Of Course, She Did!

Avelina’s glazed eyes shifted to him.

"What... what did you just say about murder right now?"

"Hm?" Draven could not comprehend the reason for her question.

"The part about almost murdering me—are you saying that Natasha was the one behind it?" Avelina questioned, her expression not looking good at all.

Draven nodded at her. "Yes, she is."

Avelina quickly shut her eyes to suppress her anger. She opened her eyes the next minute and smiled at Draven in a very insincere manner. "You know what I said before about petty? I’ll take it back."

"It would be very nice if you could add a little bit more heartlessness as a topping for your plan. Something that will make her cry to the point where she will have no appetite. I want something that will hurt her to the core of her heart—something that will make her feel her heart bursting out of her chest."

"Oh, how it will make my soul weep in joy." Her eyes were menacingly narrowed.

Draven, who was watching her, blinked. "You sound very evil, Avelina."

Avelina quickly looked at him. "Do I?"

"You do." Draven nodded.
