Chapter 224: Report on Two Pairs of Underpants
It was a week after all the follow-up matters at Hong’en Hospital had been completely dealt with.
After returning, Fu Shiyan tossed his trench coat onto the arm of the sofa, sank into the soft cushions, and leaned his head back. Not long after, he fell asleep.
An Yan, having finished washing up, stepped out of the bedroom to prepare breakfast and saw the man lying back on the sofa, asleep.
She approached quietly and observed the faint dark circles under his eyes and the stubble on his chin, realizing how tired he must have been these past days.
An Yan’s heart ached for him. She turned and went into the bedroom to fetch a blanket to cover him with.
After a moment’s thought, she also grabbed some eye cream from the dresser and applied a thick layer on him.
The sensation of the moist cream must have roused him because Fu Shiyan opened his eyes.
"Did I wake you?" An Yan asked softly.
"No," responded Fu Shiyan in a hoarse voice, pulling her gently to sit on his legs, "putting eye cream on me?"
An Yan nodded, "If you stay up late, you should apply some, or else you’ll get bags and wrinkles under your eyes."
