Chapter 124 - 125: Lady Death
Cail wasn’t blinded, but his eyes were bleeding. He could feel his sight slipping away. Based on the description, with every penalty, his eyes would deteriorate. It isn’t permanent, but it would take a year for his eyesight to heal.
"At least for now, it just targets one eye." Cail laughed. The usual trade should be an emotion, not an object, but Cail disobeyed that rule. It’s good, though; despite the punishment, the trade was still accepted.
He looked to his side and saw the man he had tied up. He was the original owner of this box. The reason why it was easy for him to pull this off was because of his null ability, and the owner of this box knew Saeb.
He sat down and continued to watch the show.
...
The clown didn’t care what was happening inside that box. He was basically over the clouds now because of the artifact. Because the auction house and the clown could use the artifact — but there is a limit to how many days per month — it was already a good opportunity. A rare artifact like that is priceless.
Jumping up and down, the clown looked very cheerful and pleased, but the audience was not. They felt their heads buzzing. Some even tried to leave but were dragged back by the Clashers before they could take even three steps forward from their box.
They realized, while they were distracted by what was happening, many Clashers were already surrounding the entire pavilion. With no way to escape, voices of indignation started spreading.
"What are you doing?!"
